WW II install crash problem

Working on my B-26 ... in Wings over Europe No problem...in the WW II install, it crashes the game what can cause this ????

I had a comparable problem when i built BoB terrain. I got CTD caused by the LOD file of the Eiffel tower in Paris. I dont know why.

Hello Veltro2k,

 

Have you set the MinbaseSize parameter to SMALL in the aircraft data.ini ? I know that this is a very common cause of CTD as the airbases of WW2 maps are most likely SMALL or MEDIUM.

Was there an error message with the CTD (that M$ popup that says "clik here for more details", or words to that effect?

 

btw, now that I got the new machine, I can hopefully get to fixing the G55's pit placement ... but gimme a few days to learn this new box

Well I figured out the problem............ MR Wrench

 

When patched with latest patch there are no problems.......Except of course the flight characteristics of the Modder created aircraft
