Kesselbruts Spitfire Pits

Spitfire Pits for use in SF2:Israel Suez Crisis Expansion.

To install just drop into your Spitfire9e and your Spitfire9C and let it overwrite any files. That is it you are all set. Uploaded with permission from Kesselbrut. Enjoy.

Thanks!

However, I can't see out of the dark green front window very well. Does anyone know of a way to make it clear?

Thanks,

it's the canopy.tga, it has a green section at the top. Maybe replace with another, or repaint the r/g/b layer to match the rest, and adjust the alpha channel as well as ther seems to be 2 smaller 'holdout' areas on the center right. That'll remove it completly

I've already sent the modified canopy.tga to Dave yesterday. I hope it will be updated soon.

I will get to it when I can. I am making 3 campaigns at the same time, doing decals, menu screens, ini tweeks. I went from having no projects to 3 in a week.

Thanks Kevin and Guyran! The fix works!

You are welcome ordway.

Do you think 'as cockpits specialist', that updating the spit's pit into SF2 standard, including moving stick, throttle, and other handles is possible?

The spit has a very unique stick as you can see.

Ouch! I will look into it.

to make the things move (ie: use animations), one would need the original MAX file. Then, one would rebuild the cockpit in MAX to add the animations. Unfortunately, its unavailable
