A modern free remake of the first PG and AG which lifts graphics and sounds from the original but improves AI (for people with deathwish), GUI and adds a WWI campaign for Germany and Austro-Hungary, which has observation balloons and zeppelins.

Many thanks for posting this. I used to play this game endlessly on my Playstation years ago and always wondered about trying to find a copy.

 

Got it downloaded and set up. Guess i'll start right after my DiD mission tonight.

Just an FYI, the website called "Good Old Games" GOG, is now selling an updated version of Panzer general 2 which works on Vista. Heres the link if anyone is interested...http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/panzer_general_2 I love this old game. Still spend time in it on occasion.
