I think, considering the military strength of Germany in those days, it should rather be showing a "Schäferhund" (German shepperd dog; Alsatian). But then France and Britain would also complain. I want to see them in the air even if I do not interact with them. They were there in RL so I want them in my OFF. I'm as you there: I will not only escort it - I will also try to shoot it down, flying an S.E.5a or a Spad. And the "British brethren" are also mine - as a European (although it often seems they don't want to be part of Europe). Fine, original people I wouldn't want to miss.
