Massive Gun Hit Count

I'm so jazzed! I just finished a mission in the F-4E over Vietnam. There were boatloads of Migs in the air. I was very busy. I don't remember very much. Everything happened so fast. I just tried to stay alive. After the missions end I checked the stats and found I had 7 kills with the gun, landing 111 hits on target!

 

111 HITS!!!

 

I'm shocked. I don't know about anyone else, but I've never had that many hits before. I've had the same hit percentage or better, but usually against fixed targets. I'll bet a few folks out there have done better, but I'm still super-jazzed at this result. I just had to share it. My whole flight of eight survived as well. Very proud of that. That is impressive!

 

Even more so is all the other folks not dying. Very tough thing, and usually out of your control.

 

The only non-impressive thing on that screen is the "no weapon fired" on your wingy.

 

Fairly annoying, but usually it happens to me on the 4th man...

I'm seeing that alot too. I'll set my guys up for an easy kill and they won't fire or drop a single weapon. I don't get it.
