dsawan Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 see here: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/russia/8188576/Russian-navy-jets-disrupted-US-Japanese-military-exercise.html Info on the Il-38 which is still in Russian service: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Il-38
+JediMaster Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 I don't think the Il-38 qualifies as a "jet".
dsawan Posted December 10, 2010 Author Posted December 10, 2010 I agree with you. its jus a copy of the pc-3. But still in nservice since the 60's.
+ST0RM Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Great bit of journalism, Douchebag. Good thing checking facts isn't a requirement anymore.
+Gr.Viper Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 It wouldn't make much of a headline if it said "Old as s**t Russian prop-driven patrol planes manage to make it to the navy exercise"
+Gepard Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 I dont know why people are so excited. Its a normal thing that planes attempt to recon something. The US and NATO birds are doing the same if russian surface groups are on excercise.
