DEVIL11 Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Hi im new to the strike fighters 2 serious i was wondering how u put mods add planes and weapons and what wweapon editor and gun editor i use
+Fubar512 Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Read the SF2 knowledge base. Everything's explained there.
DEVIL11 Posted April 2, 2011 Author Posted April 2, 2011 I read the knowlage base but its to complacated im use to the first gen where u just add the air craft to the objects
peterbezemer Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 SF2 has a seperate mods folder, for win 7 its something like: C:\Users\[your name]Saved Games\ThirdWire weapon editor not needed, just put your SF2 weapons in objects\weapons as described in the knowledge base, and the readme's its less complicated than SF1...
DEVIL11 Posted April 2, 2011 Author Posted April 2, 2011 Dont i need a tool to put aircraft and other campians on
DEVIL11 Posted April 3, 2011 Author Posted April 3, 2011 Ok how do i add planes if there is no objects for weapons aircraft or ground objects and a campaing folder where u just add the things like in gen1 serious 1 1
FrankD Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Do as Fubar said, serious. http://combatace.com/topic/62302-what-is-the-mod-folder/
+Wrench Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 EVERYTHING is EXACTLY the same as ALL the 1stGens ... it's just now the folders are in a different place. Due to Vista/Win7 internal security settings READ and FOLLOW the instructions linked above
xclusiv8 Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Man, you come and ask for help. People help you and yet you try to be a smartass. Read the link that FrankD posted. Here you go, an example that is covered in the link. Vista/Win7 C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Objects\Decals
+sony tuckson Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 (edited) Well, maybe the guy just doesn't speak english fluently and as such, has issues understanding instructions... you need first to tell us which operationg system you run, as the folder where you will copy the addons is different under XP or Vista/7 Edited April 3, 2011 by sony tuckson
DEVIL11 Posted April 3, 2011 Author Posted April 3, 2011 not tryin to be mean sorry i did follow the link and i have windows 7 but ill figure it out thanks
