The best recommendation for taking screenies during whatever you're doing is to just pause it. It becomes critical true when doing stuff but overall you should be able to pickup the stick from where you left off and get back into it. I've had to do that occasionally for my DACT reports. Besides it gives me a mental pause for the fight and allows you to explore the angles for max effect.
