Hi there!!!

 

I hope you can help me. My problem is, I cannot populate airbases. For example, I add the entry for a AAA in the ****_targets.ini and nothing happens, even with objects that already appear, such as M-163 Vulcan guns. How can I fix it?? Thanks for your time!!

That Flak does not appear in game can have different reasons. First, you use the setting EnemyAirDefence=low in single mission screen. Then the game engine is reducing the numbers of Flak and SAM at the terrain.

 

The other reason could be, that to many objects are set at the terrain. There is an upper limit and if you come to this limit the game engine is reducing the numbers of Flak and SAM.

uses ANY and ALL groundobjects tagged as "Static_AAA" or "Moble_AAA"

 

if you want a specific object called, you MUST list it in the _types.ini, and have wichever AAA entry replaced with that object.

 

also, if you'll look carefully at the runway heading, it east/west. ALL location offsets on ALL airbases are based on a N/S orientation

 

Didn't I cover this in a targeting tutorial, most lilkely in the KB??
