+quack74 329 Posted December 7, 2011 Here are some pics of skins (Aviatik D.I mostly) and Phonix D.II's of multiple Fliks in the Summer of 1918. I will be doing a late war campaign with as many skins and aces I can scrounge up. Of course I'll have to use the Vogesen terrain again because it has mountains. But I will be renaming the airfields and cities this time.
+ojcar 157 Posted December 7, 2011 (edited) Top work, as usual, Quack74 By the way, Quack, an useful trick for this map: There are only a handful of Entente airfields, so I have edited the Targets.ini. I have changed all Entente airfields to have 12 units instead 6 and it works! (not all the units are showing on the planning map, but their planes are flying) Edited December 7, 2011 by ojcar

+quack74 329 Posted December 8, 2011 Thanks guys. If only someone would be interested in creating the proper terrain for an Austria-Italy campaign. It's beyond me. I've tried. I will be making SPAD7 and SPAD13 skins as well as Hanriot's and Nieuports for the italians too. It will be loads of fun to play. Lots of ground action too. +Stephen1918 1,474 Posted December 8, 2011 Excellent work. You have an incredible amount of detail in these skins. Did you do the skins for the trucks too? (I see a Red Cross truck in some of the shots.) How do you get screen shots of the airfield?
Capitaine Vengeur 263 Posted December 8, 2011 Really colorful, and threatening enough as a pack to damp the seats of Italian rookies! I hope to see later Hanriots that colorful, they're among my very fave planes. The Vogesen map with North -> South rivers is fair enough for Venetia, and Jan Tuma's tilesets are wonderful. But it would ne nice if Jan Tuma could work on a few farm tilesets adding local canals and lightened tree plantations, a replacing set of local trees, and perhaps a set of typical farms and buildings for Venetia, for better immersion. Did you try to contact him already, Quack?

33LIMA 972 Posted December 9, 2011 Great! Is this for FE2? Have FE2, but having problems getting Vogesan Textures working Did you install them into your 'mods' folder, rather than your FE2 main game's folder, and into the correct subfolder? Sorry if you know all this already but I have Vosgen terrain working ok in FE2 (as well as FEG) and can't think of any other reason. In FE2 all addons go into [Your user name]/Saved Games/FirstEagles2/ followed by the appropriate subfolder - and in FE2, for Vosgen, this is 'Terrains' (ie, plural) not FE1's 'Terrain' - so if you've installed in the mods folder I'd check the spelling of that subfolder, too. Superb! Ah! that makes sense - found the FE2 mods file in the users saved games folder in Win7. Just copied the' terrains' folder (it's where I dumped the custom terrain files) from the FE2 games installation and working! Thanks, couldn't have done it without that pointer!
