Guest rscsjsuso5 Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 this question might be odd but what if I wanted to remove the canards from a jas gripen or any similar ac would it be possible and if so is their a thread/topic on remove component. thanks Quote
Spinners Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 I learnt this from the F-100A for Taiwan in the SF1 section but the example is from one of my Lightning mods; You need to add a component line (using the next available component number) and then add an edit to remove it Component[010]=Norefueling_probe [Norefueling_probe] ParentComponentName=Fuselage ModelNodeName=refueling_probe <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< This must be the exact mesh name you are trying to remove DestroyedNodeName=refueling_probe DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUE HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE Quote
+RAVEN Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 (edited) From the thred I read some timeago you need to add the " _OK" ,I add it and it's worked to make the AN-12 a -8. Distroyed two of the engines and the cowls an stuff ModelNodeName=refueling_probe _ok Edited February 27, 2012 by RAVEN Quote
Spinners Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Add whatever you like but what I've outlined is from a mod where it works. _OK? Quote
Lexx_Luthor Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Yea most stuff removes fine without the "_ok" but there are some stuffs that need the _ok. Have no idea what the deal is but life is like that. Quote
Lexx_Luthor Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Raven:: make the AN-12 a -8 Did the same thing. Free Tip:: I make a desktop shortcut with keyboard Ctrl+Alt+2 to a text file I call @@@@@ and...well here it is...I just copy and paste stuff when I need it fast and fill in the blanks or numbers.... Component[000]= [] ParentComponentName=Fuselage ModelNodeName=_ok DestroyedNodeName= DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUE HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE Specular=0.3 Glossiness=0.1 Reflection=0.5 [Move1] Type=AIRSPEED_INDICATOR NodeName= MovementType=POSITION_Z Set[01].Position=-99 Set[01].Value=0.0 Set[02].Position=-99 Set[02].Value=1.0 [Move00] Type=AIRSPEED_INDICATOR NodeName= MovementType=ROTATION_X Set[01].Position=45 Set[01].Value=0.0 Set[02].Position=45 Set[02].Value=1.0 [Decal001] MeshName= DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing= FilenameFormat=Insignia Position=00.00,00.00 Scale=0.0 HeightMap=sea_hm.BMP HeightMapScale=2500.000000 ---- ....just stuff I use alot and here its all setup to just copypaste roundabout.
