DarthRevan Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Anyone know how to fix the problems with taildragger? I refer to the tail sinking through the ground on the "stationary" airplanes. Here are som pictures to show off what I mean: Quote
+JediMaster Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 The P-51D that comes with Exp1 doesn't do that, maybe check its .inis? Quote
+ST0RM Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 The March 12 patch did this. It's been passed to TK and mentioned here numerous tims. Quote
DarthRevan Posted March 30, 2012 Author Posted March 30, 2012 Seems it is not taildraggers only. I have seen the same with Draken and the MiG-15. Don't have a screenshot for the Draken. But I do have one for the MiG: I should say this occured in my Scandinavian Front folder not sure how it is in the other mod folders Quote

+SkateZilla Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 so 3 wheel nose steering planes are at an angle, and tail draggers are at even worse of an angle.... Quote
+ST0RM Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 so 3 wheel nose steering planes are at an angle, and tail draggers are at even worse of an angle.... It's not consistent. I've got several tricycle geared jets that sit right. I've only seen the taildraggers dig in. Quote
+Wrench Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 i'll bet the game engine is reading the CG position, which on pretty much MOST of the 3rdParty birds isn't 0/0/0 Quote
+russouk2004 Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 yes kev ur right...if a model has got some rong sizes then that a\c will sit odly.if meshes are incorrect in 3ds max and dont match world size then game thinks they are correct lenght. Quote
+PureBlue Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Still, some of the TW stock models have this problem too. C-47, A-7E to name a few.. Quote
