Trying to get the FRS1 into NA and I'm pretty much done aside from the seat and weapons fit

I've managed to get the pilot to show by creating a mod folder and ini for the old gen1 format and attempted the same for the seat, pilot works seat dosn't and can't really see how I've done anything differently.

As a side note, anyone know where to get the pre falklands two tone skins?

Craig

EDIT: weapons problems solved...

the FRS1?? I didn't have any problems bringing it over to SF2!! No issues with loads or anything!

looking in my data ini, it uses the A-4 seat

SeatModelName=seat_a-4

SeatPosition=0.00,2.80,0.3

what squadron? there's 7 skins in my folder, some solid, some 2tone.

another ?, has anyone uploaded the FRS1 for SF2??? (it does need some finetunig, at least my version!)

Thats right on both counts, pack I have only has the Falklands skins in it though :dntknw:

Managed to sort the seat, too tired and crossed eyed to spot the difference between "-" and "_"....

Do you find the FRS.1 a tad underpowered compared with the stock birds or is it just me?

yea, it needs some FM and other work, but in mostly there!

edit: forgot something!

I can assemble a package, and have it ready in couple of hours. But as it's TMF, I'd like to check with Sony Tuckson first before uploading (and it won't be a perfect pak, just what I have)

I'd certainly appreciate it, aside from the skins and power issues its already pretty much where I want it. Really makes a change from the almighty F-14.

should have the FA.2 ready to go early next week. just tweeking loadouts (needs a more refined FM, btw, but that's above my pay grade)

jack33: this is where it become critical knowledge on "how to read a data ini".

have you tried the arrestor hook keystroke? (H)???? -- that'll be fixed with the SF2 version gets released

You might want to mess around with the AnimationID as well, though as I said I'm fairly sure the guy that originally made the 2nd gen Harriers didnt animate the canopy.

the old readme has your name in it....

what needs fixing...????.(insert evil grin >HERE< ...hmmmm..... outrigger lengh??? they don't touch the ground. If it won't take you away from other projects, I'll "look" around and see what I can see (i'm so bad!) :lol:

Anyting that needs MAX work, can always be fixed later

--------

Ive sent what I was doing on the FA2 over to IanH and dtmdragon ... they've made some WONDERFUL fixes, so release is delayed until Dan adapts my tweeks to his.
