Oh yes we have an updated Arromanches .... but the seafire must be navalized to use with CVs ....

....

MinBaseSize=SMALL

CarrierBased=TRUE <----------------- add these lines in data.ini here

CarrierParkSpan=7.00

CarrierParkAnimationID=

Sure: no hook or wingfold (due original model) but very pretty nice!

Maybe more numbers and no "Royal Navy" stencil?

I hope for a 1.1 version my friend!

add to AircraftData section (

Carrierbased=TRUE

CarrierParkSpan=11.25

CarrierParkAnimationID=

add to [Fuselage]

SystemName[004]=Tailhook

add at end of landing gear section:

[Tailhook]

SystemType=ARRESTER_HOOK

MaxDeflection=20

AnimationID=

Retractable=TRUE

DeployTime=2.0

ModelNodeName=TailHook

HookArmLength=1.563

AttachmentPosition=-0.0000,-1.9678,-0.5486

that should work

it's what I did on my 'home grown' version of a Seafire3 (RN) I previewed earlier this year (Nigel's is just as good!)

Just to learn something Kevin, but why adding a tail hook if model hasn't? :blink:

"vitural" tailhooks make them carrier-capable. 8-9 years ago, that's how we got the FJ-3 Fury's on the boat -- the game don't care if the physical part isn't there, as long as there's data ini entires

Just updated both to make them carrier-capable and fit a hook.

The 'Royal Navy' serial number is totally authentic, and can be seen on many ex-RN aircraft sold to the French Navy, including this one. Until I work out how French serials actually work, I won't be bringing out further decals. Two weeks...
