Nice.

The college I went to has a biology field station in the Hiawatha Forest in the UP.

Spent a complete day on Mackinac Island last year. I highly recommend if your travelling in the area to stop! It was the highlite of my trip into Michigan. :good:

Impressive pictures of the ferry, except with hydrojets, I never saw surface propellers make such a sheaf. The old and classic style Lighthouse is nice too. good.gif

Thanks everyone! Glad you like the shots. Pics were re-sized for internet display, but no other post processing was done. Also, corrected URL to the camera.

 

The Star Line uses a jet drive hyrdofoil. I prefer the smoother ride of the Arnold Line turbine catamarans...

They are special and for those who grew up near them, they occupy a beloved place in our hearts and our minds eye... I hope you can see them some time!
