ValAstur Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 I really don't remember when it started, but sometimes, when I start a mission, I get a strange bluescreen: And when I exit the mission, the mission is declared as a success, although it has been aborted: I really don't know from what it depends. Any ideas?
+SupGen Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 That's the view from 120,000 feet up. I've seen it too, mainly when I've done something really dumb in an aircraft's ini. files. Not really sure what causes it, though.
+HomeFries Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 I get it at random even when the files are OK. Seems to happen more in Reconnaissance missions than in other mission types.
RogerSmith Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 I get this a lot. I noticed when I look in the Mission Builder it shows waypoint 2 or 3 (can't remember which) wayyyyy off the planning map. You could use the Mission builder more often to avoid this, just simply change the starting point and it fixes itself.
+Wrench Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 you're seeing "The Edge of the Universe" ... aka "The Wall". Experienced it too, usually on F6 view (look at all the planes!) Sometimes it jumps to The Wall and stays there.
Spinners Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 I get this occasionally in SF2:NA - can't explain why
+Wrench Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 possibly related to 'off map basing' for the soviet bomber forces???
