Finally got something going.

 

Some hotel needed 60 +temporary kitchen workers and so i was one of the dispatched at the union hall. The first two weeks will be tough as it's a five mile walk, work, then 5 miles back to skid row. At the moment i don't know what shift i got as they haven't called with the details yet. I hope to hell it's day shift because if its the other two i'm in serious trouble as there is no real place to sleep that i know of.

 

Anyway's it's probaly a month max and back to the union hall. At least Nascar is coming up in March so that out to be at least three days worth of work.

 

Oh yeah, nothing panned out at the job fair as it was geared primarily towards seasonal workers.
