add this to the a\c u want it for in the main ini. IE Hawk.ini not data.ini

you have added the lines to the proper ini ?

DAT's Corsair I can't speak too.

 

but Wolf's Butcher Bird sure works...(haven't noticed any "tractor beams" yet)

 

 

(like I said before, if given some time, you'll have the "new" TMF -1A/D soon)

 

 

EDIT: also, do you have Shadown turned ON in the Option menu??

DAT Corsairs haven't shadows ..... once upon a time Veltro told me why some planes (very few as the most lods were fixed) don't cast shadows.

 

I could not explain which was the problem, but I'ld have just something to show as he fixed it ..... :biggrin:

Ok, the 190's are fixed but the Corsairs still have problems...guess I'll wait for the rest of MF's F4U's.

I have never seen any object not cast a shadow at all if the proper entries are in the ini. At least SOME parts of the model will cast a shadow...something else is going on there.

In some patches of the game the mesh that have a double sided material assigned don't cast shadow even with those ini entries.

Also, there are flags that can be set in MAX that will tell a mesh to not cast or catc h a shadow....earlier models tend to have these flags at random verses later versions.

capun answered the question about their Corsair.

It seems someone dosn't have the latest lod from them. Shadow issue was fixed during a reexport for SF2 (something about 2sided material)
