+streakeagle 871 Posted December 2, 2012 (edited) That Saturn V model was awesome. I can't imagine where you would build it, how you would transport it, or how to safely make and store its engines (which I presume were still the typical solid propellant type used in hobby rockets, just on a much larger scale). I would like to know more about this model! The steam engines are nice, too. Just not quite as impressive. Edited December 2, 2012 by streakeagle

+Typhoid 231 Posted December 3, 2012 Allow me to blow your mind... *steam powered model rockets* Those are some awesome hobbies. Tough call between the model rocket and the steam engines.
FastCargo 412 Posted December 3, 2012 Those are some awesome hobbies. Tough call between the model rocket and the steam engines. Model rockets, baby! You have to get FAA waivers to fly rockets that big...pretty sure you don't need that for a steam engine...:). But, I have to say, those steam powered engines are awesome...true craftsmen there! +ST0RM 145 Posted December 3, 2012 I'm just happy that those model rockets fly better than the NK's real ones do.

JediMaster 451 Posted December 3, 2012 You say that now, but in a shooting war you'd find the NK SSMs with a 1 mile range DEADLY.
