arthur666 Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 I just get so lonely flying that thing. I studied the F-111 pit, but I can't quite figure out everything I need to do. BTW, getting the RAZBAM F-102 gave me a nice little pilot model. Quote
Panama Red Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 It's in the A-6_data.ini file. Make sure that the Co-pilot has "SeatID=2" listed under the [Copilot] section. Quote
arthur666 Posted December 21, 2012 Author Posted December 21, 2012 (edited) I have this: [Nose] ParentComponentName=Fuselage ModelNodeName=fuselage_front ShowFromCockpit=FALSE DamageRating=DESTROYED MassFraction=0.240 HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE MinExtentPosition=-1.18,-2.41,-1.26 MaxExtentPosition= 1.18, 4.15, 1.33 CollisionPoint[001]= 0.00, 7.29,-0.86 CollisionPoint[002]= 0.00, 8.08,-0.09 CollisionPoint[003]= 0.00, 5.23, 1.08 CollisionPoint[004]= 0.55, 3.17,-0.76 CollisionPoint[005]=-0.55, 3.17,-0.76 SystemName[001]=Pilot SystemName[002]=CoPilot SystemName[003]=NoseGear and down here I added it: [Pilot] SystemType=PILOT_COCKPIT PilotModelName=PilotN1 Position=-0.35,1.15,0.85 SeatModelName=seat_f-4 SeatPosition=-0.35,1.15,0.48 MinExtentPosition=-0.85, 0.49,-0.35 MaxExtentPosition= 0.00, 1.81, 0.91 CanopyNodeName=Canopy CanopyAnimationID=3 [CoPilot] SystemType=PILOT_COCKPIT //PilotModelName=PilotN2 PilotModelName=F-102 pilot Position=0.35,1.14,0.80 SeatModelName=seat_f-4 SeatPosition=0.35,1.15,0.52 MinExtentPosition= 0.00, 0.49,-0.35 MaxExtentPosition= 0.85, 1.81, 0.91 CanopyNodeName=Canopy CanopyAnimationID=3 SeatID=2 still not showing up in internal view Edited December 21, 2012 by arthur666 Quote
Panama Red Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 See what happens if you also add "SeatID=1" to the [Pilot] section too. Quote
+russouk2004 Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 [quoteand down here I added it: [Pilot] SystemType=PILOT_COCKPIT PilotModelName=PilotN1 Position=-0.35,1.15,0.85 SeatModelName=seat_f-4 SeatPosition=-0.35,1.15,0.48 MinExtentPosition=-0.85, 0.49,-0.35 MaxExtentPosition= 0.00, 1.81, 0.91 CanopyNodeName=Canopy CanopyAnimationID=3 [CoPilot] SystemType=PILOT_COCKPIT //PilotModelName=PilotN2 PilotModelName=F-102 pilot Position=0.35,1.14,0.80 SeatModelName=seat_f-4 SeatPosition=0.35,1.15,0.52 MinExtentPosition= 0.00, 0.49,-0.35 MaxExtentPosition= 0.85, 1.81, 0.91 CanopyNodeName=Canopy CanopyAnimationID=3 SeatID=2 still not showing up in internal view ] That is for external model, and not for the cockpit...u need look in the cockpit ini,or maybe he is added via fakepilot..as I think the co-pilot you see sat next to you will be a part of the 3d model. +Gepard Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 The question is, wheter the cockpit is placed at the correct position. Check the data in the A-6A_data.ini and the cockpit.ini and compare it. Quote
FastCargo Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Read this thread very carefully: http://combatace.com/topic/32148-something-new-has-been-added/ It explains how it works and exactly what you need to do. It works in SF2 just fine. FC Quote
arthur666 Posted December 22, 2012 Author Posted December 22, 2012 Thanks. I did get it to work, but I might abandon this effort as the Hi-res F-102 pilot is either sunken into the seat in internal view, or poking his head thru the canopy in external view, and the stock pilot is too low-res for the RAZBAM pit. Quote
+Corktip_14 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 There's a lot of higher res skins for the standard pilot model. Quote
+HomeFries Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I haven't been able to get it to work with the RAZBAM cockpit because the RAZBAM cockpit uses textures for the surrounding cockpit as well as the dash. When you enable the B/N using the code above, it shows off the B/N as part of the default object, and doesn't mesh well with surrounding textures. It works just fine with the original A-6A cockpit from WoV. Quote
