Squadron... please.

I am brand new to the game, but im picking it up very quickly. Most of my experience (lately) is with IL2, this is the first jet sim I have had since USNF, and the whole radar thing is finaly coming back to me.

 

I am a bit scared of hyperlobby (and the counter shows damn few people on it), and nobody seems to play on gamespy (3-4 people at any given time). I've seen in some posts that alot of you guys only fly with your respective squadrons.

 

I was just wondering if anybody was looking for another dedicated squadron member.

I just heard, that it was bad sh*t over there. Somebody said it was a

"Hackers Paradise".

 

I was looking into it, i went to www.hyperlobby.com, this seems to be some sort of anti-HL site.

 

Surely, there must be some truth behind the rumors.

Well, everyone but Galen would say no. I have no real knowledge of it one way or the other myself. BUT, the connection at Hyper Lobby is about the best I've come across, and I'm a 56k kind of guy. If you want an idea of the guy who runs the web site you described, go into one of his forums and read the ongoing dialogue between he and himself. lol

HyperLobby is a safe and great place to game

And it seems to be a hell of alot more stable than GameSpy

Just wanted to give you guys a heads-up teaser on some upcoming projects in the works here at Biohaz.

 

First up, we have a new skinning tutorial in the works for you budding skin artists that will explain the tricks of the trade. I don't want to tell you too much yet, but it should be excellent as it is being put together by one of the best SF skinner out there...

 

Also, I have a trackIR unit on it's way from the great folks at NaturalPoint. I plan to put this bad boy through it's paces and give you a full review. Is it really as cool as it looks? Stay tuned to find out...

I've been using HL for about a year now and it is SO much better than Gamespam, er Gamespy.

 

As far as Galen is concerned.. his reputation preceeds him wherever he goes.

 

Take a peek over at Luthier's site on his "Ignore GT campaign"... good stuff. Very informative.

I have been using HyperLobby since Jane's Combat Net went down. I was there to see why the one you talk about was banned. I was reading the boards at SimHQ when the same thing happend. So as a beta tester for the HyperLobby I can tell you that it is safe and much better then GameSpy with the all seening eye !!! :D
