TheWarrior 62 Posted February 1, 2013 So is there a place I can read up on how to make skins for the aircraft models? Thanks.
+russouk2004 6,958 Posted February 1, 2013 Basically ,look for the Templates(if available for the a\c you want to paint)...then add your scheme to the layers required with your favourite paint programme, most templates just need new colours as most(like mine, and sundowners for example )have all dirt, weathering etc already done. Spinners 15,986 Posted February 1, 2013 Simmers paint shop. Our very own EricJ has an excellent tutorial somewhere round these parts too.
+EricJ 4,250 Posted February 1, 2013 (edited) http://562.50megs.co...torials/LST.zip Unzip it as it's a PDF file. Yeah its for LOMAC but the same rules apply... And thanks for the reminder Spinners, I may actually do one for WoX/SF2.... Note that the doc is old, GIMP works for a few people here (mainly because it's free) but Photoshop Elements is also a good way to create skins, a whole bunch of programs exist though, as long as they can open a PSD formatted template.
