+RAVEN Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 For SF2 dose a Effect Sound .wav require a SOUNDLIST.ini edit to work? It's required for SF1 and I have it working for that, I dont have SF2 to test it. Quote
Panama Red Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Anything other than engine sounds needs to be in the "soundlist.ini". for SF2/FE2. Quote

panzerwaffe044 Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 Could you help me? I'd like to change the radio chatter: 1 - I extracted the .wav files from speech.cat using CAT file extractor. 2 - I changed some files (the names and the file format are correct). 3 - Then I put the catpack.exe file in the folder. 4 - I got the CATpack.cat file. 5 - I renamed it to speech.cat 6 - I placed it to my speech folder instead the old one. 7 - Now I have no radio-chatter at all. What did I do wrong? Thanks for your help... Quote
Wrench Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 SF2 cats can't be repacked afaik... you'll need to have seperate folders for EACH speech pak -- just like the ones in the downloads section -AND their requried inis (afaik) Quote
panzerwaffe044 Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 OK, I found out, how to do it, using example from the downloads. As far as I understood I have to modify the Nations.ini, to give each nation a unique speech. I found this file in MissionData001.cat. As you say, I can't repack Mission data001.cat again with the changed NATIONS.ini, so where should I place it? Quote
