Anyone play Fighters Anthology back in the day. If you did, you may remember a couple of Russian Aircraft could equip the AA-11B Backfire, a fictional variant of the AA-11 Archer that could fire backwards at tailgaiting enemies.

I thought I would try my hand at modding a standard AA-11 for my own personal use. But does anyone know how to get the missile facing backwards, to start with?

Any help is appreciated. :)

Isn't the same used in the famous movie "Firefox" with the fictional MiG-31 Firefox and Clint Eastwood?

@fastcargo: is the modification for the Phyton you mentioned in your old thread still working in SF2 July patch?

do you still know the exact modifications you made?

maybe there is a possibility to update ravenclaws IDF/AF Weapons this way.

Modifications were specified in the referenced thread.

I did not try this in SF2. The main reason is because the AI did not attempt to use the missiles in SF1. I VERY seriously doubt TK would have added coding to make the AI shoot missiles backwards.
