Stipe Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 (edited) I have a problem with the Swedish terrain, there is no airfields, can someone tell me how to fix this? Thanks in advance. (Game is SF2) Edited March 27, 2013 by Stipe Quote
jeanba Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Not so sure but in Sweden, some airfield are actually improvised airfield with roads used as runways. This might be one of them Quote
+JonathanRL Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 This is not one of those. First of all, you seem to have a rather nasty infestation of Russians. You may want to clear it out ;-) Second; are you using TSF or Swedish Terrain as downloaded on this very site? Third; do you have SF2: Europe? Quote
Stipe Posted March 27, 2013 Author Posted March 27, 2013 I have just SF2 And yes I use the TSF. Quote
+JonathanRL Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Then you lack the proper Airstrips. The Sweden terrain lends most of its items from the SF2: Europe part of things. Try downloading Starys HD pack, and see if that helps as he may or may not use different airstrips. Otherwise, a bit of .ini tampering would be needed to fix the airfield issue. Quote
+Gepard Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 (edited) It seems to be, that you does not has the GermanyCE.cat file Without this cat file you will not see the basic objects of the game. Open file sweden.ini with notepad editor look for line: CatFile=..\GermanyCE\GermanyCE.cat and replace it by CatFile=..\desert\desert.cat save the file and enjoy gaming Edited March 27, 2013 by Gepard Quote
Wrench Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 (edited) and then... since each airfiled is pointing the a 'germanyce' airfiled ini, you'll need to edit every single runway reference to switch them over. which terrain download EXACTLY are you using???. IIRC, the "Ostseeausgang" terrain folder for the baltic (displayed name is Baltic Sea (Denmark) ) was already converted touse the desert airfields. if it's the 'basic' Sweden map, you have 2 choices: 1) edit the targets ini, as stated above, and extract the desert airfield inis (all six), and drop them INTO the terrain folder 2) buy SF2:E, and make sure the catpointer line 'reaches around' to the GermanyCE cat. (<--- this is much easier!) Edited March 27, 2013 by Wrench Quote
