hrc Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Is it possible to increase angle view? Specifically I want to see further back.
Wilches Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Add this line to the *_Cockpit.ini: OffSet=0.0,-0.12,0.0 The middle values controls your FOV. Is negative for backwards and positive forward. The correct position depends on wich aircraft you choose. It´s a trial and error game. Good luck!
+Stary Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I thinkhrc wants to be able to be able to turn his head more, if so, thises values are to be changed: MaxYaw=150 MinYaw=-150 MaxPitch=90 MinPitchFront=-60 MayYaw -limit to the right, MinYaw -limit to the left, Pitch for looking up and down
hrc Posted April 16, 2013 Author Posted April 16, 2013 Oh boy, the extraction part. I know I'm a pain and it's easy-peassy for you guys, but could you explain to me in detail what extension to extract to get to options .ini and where to put it and so on, so I don't mes up my installation. I downloaded TK cat. extractor for starters
+Wrench Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 ***_cockpit ini you'll have to know WHICH aircraft, and then go the the ObjectData***.cats to find the various files you'll need the latest 3W extractor (arpil 2012), available in the SF2 Downloads, Tools/Utilities http://combatace.com/files/file/13040-3rd-wire-toolkits-april-2012/ or at 3rd Wire it's very easy to use
+Stary Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 it's in the cockpit ini file of plane you want to adjust, there's no specific global variable that would affect all cockpits, so you must open cockpit.ini (usually planename_cockpit.ini) and make the changes to the above entries, save and test
+Wrench Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 forgot to mentinon, after extraction, the _cockpit.ini goes INTO that's aircraft's folder. Otherwise the changes won't be read by the game engine
Romflyer Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 If you go into the viewlist.ini and make the following changes LimitPitch=FALSE -----> look up down - FALSE allows more freedom so I use it LimitYaw=TRUE ------> Set to FALSE to enable 180 all round LimitRoll=FALSE This will unlock the head movement on all the aircraft......
+Stary Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 If you go into the viewlist.ini and make the following changes LimitPitch=FALSE -----> look up down - FALSE allows more freedom so I use it LimitYaw=TRUE ------> Set to FALSE to enable 180 all round LimitRoll=FALSE This will unlock the head movement on all the aircraft...... jackpot!
