Yak-25RV Mandrake [REVAMP]

Yak-25RV NATO reporting name Mandrake

High altitude reconnaissance version with new wing and camera and sensor packs in the fuselage. Some may have retained one cannon. 155 aircraft built (Wikipedia).

I´ve started this template some months ago, then Stary teased me with a pit he was making, which eventually led me to complete the template.

The model as is, is the one of Pasko´s Old Yaks, it has some imperfections you will have to live with as i was unable to fix.

1 High res skin has been made on my part along with the numbers, but the real Star here was Stary, giving a whole new feel to the plane with the cockpit he made.

Also, must credit my good friend Daniel "Cocas" Liebaert, who let me use a MiG-17 seat we have for another soon to release project.

The rest, of the people who worked in this project, i will need to send me a PM so i can include them here.

Hope you like it and let´s beef our Red Army!!!

just be aware that the cockpits from all Yak-25 series are "generic stand-in sovietized twin engine" cockpits I had in the workshop, slightly modified for Flogger23's projects

hard to come by data for real 25s

Excellent work! Thank you!

Just a suggestion, some of those new cockpits of the Flashlight family are a bit similar to the Mig-25 Foxbat cockpit. Specially the Yak-25B cockpit, because the blue color of the cockpit and because the gunsight is up. If somebody could modify that cockpit a bit (like a correct position for the radar screen and the windframe on the top of the pit) then we will have a cockpit for the Foxbat!

It is just a suggestion...

as stated those are stand-in cockpits I made for fun but then Flogger decided we'll put them into ths pack

BUT making those I sort-of-tried-to-duplicate real existing cockpits layout

for Foxbat 25K one is a close call (albeit black)
