KJakker Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Does anyone know the names of the mesh names for the guns on the SCB-125.lod? Quote
Fubar512 Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 They're not cut for animation, if that's what you're trying to achieve. Quote
Wrench Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 (edited) who cares if they don't move!!?? As long as they shoot!! (expecially as it's being used as a stand-in until we get the pre-conversion straight-decked version for ww2 and korea!) it's almost criminal that the 4 3 inchers were left off this ship. I have the 08 level lod in my extracted archives, but the 'usual suspects' - gun, barrel, cannon, etc don't show via a hex editor search. EDIT: ok, also just check my pre-lock archived lods (dated 1/25/2011), and yet again, nothing shows Edited December 18, 2013 by Wrench Quote
KJakker Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 Thanks for looking. Wrench would you be willing to PM me a copy and past of the Text-string section displayed by the HEX editor for the LOD so I can take a look at it myself? Quote
Blade Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 I have a modified SCB-125_Data.ini with fully-functional guns, moving gun radars, as well as updated detectsystem section with correct view and radar positions. There are a few glitches (the gun structure and barrel are the same node so they look a bit funny when pitching up, the gun radars and the accompanying guns do not look in the same direction), but these cannot be corrected without touching the model. I can upload it if you want it. 1 Quote

Blade Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Nice. Mine is almost the same. You could elaborate the [DetectSystem] section as well, because, as compared to other SF2NA ships, it is rather empty. Quote
KJakker Posted December 19, 2013 Author Posted December 19, 2013 I have added this to the detect system entry. A slight modification of the CVA-63 [DetectSystem] data.
