working a new pit for the Extender, or just getting rid of that hud?  the DC-10 uses the same,  and a pit for that would be even nicer than for the tanker.........

i just left the pit in there as was when i reworked it. they are meant to be AI due to limited missions in game,  but i did need it to fly em and see how the  skins were progressing. figured others might like to fly it as well even with the not so accurate cockpit

I don't know that hiding things works in cockpit INI files, as it does for aircraft LODs. I think you have to physically move them back, out of sight.

Try this in the cockpit INI file:

Instrument[061]=HidePart1    <-and check that these are sequential to the preceeding entry

Instrument[062]=HidePart2

[HidePart1]
Type=AIRSPEED_INDICATOR
NodeName=P_HUD
MovementType=POSITION_Z
Set[01].Position=-100
Set[01].Value=0.0
Set[02].Position=-99
Set[02].Value=1.0

[HidePart2]
Type=AIRSPEED_INDICATOR
NodeName=CP_HUD
MovementType=POSITION_Z
Set[01].Position=-100
Set[01].Value=0.0
Set[02].Position=-99
Set[02].Value=1.0

Nice work....:)   I tried something like that for the Canberra bomber using the A-4 pit then removing windscreen cage.
