Strange decals on MiG-17 "Fresco-A"

This is truly strange. This is a MiG-17 "Fresco-A" using the Soviet Silver skin with KPAF roundels. I have no idea why there is an RAF tail flash. The VPAF Silver skin does the same thing. Here is the decals.ini:

interesting,  but the simple solution is to delete the finflash portion,  or at least comment it out.  if that is stock,  dont think TK will do much about it

Too many mods.

 

In short, you installed a third party RAF bird with decals setup to use a variant of the RAF nation sharing the same NationID as North Korea in your NATIONS.INI, that's why many mods are intended to be used on separate installs rather than merged with others mods.

Solved. In the Objects/Decals folder, I found two RAF fin flashes, FinFlashR.tga and FinFlashL.tga. Once I deleted them, it was solved. Thanks, gentlemen!

I'll bet those extra decals were NOT sitting in an aircraft specific folder, were they, but just in the root of the /Decals folder?

This is why is so critical to follow the folder tree
