So, i'm fully patched..is that me screwed?

Recommended Posts

Just got into SF2...have the full works..and am patched to the final 2013 patch...thought i'd have a look at the WW2 mod..and Wrench has said it'll have a lot of issues.

Has that been sorted?..I kinda assume not, as when I went to install the EAW terrain...none of the folders it mentioned existed in my SF2 installation

Am I being dumb?..or is that as it should be?

Are you new to this - do you know where the location for Mod folders are in SF2? (you have to create some of them)

Or see #1 here

although the folder structure is pretty much the same from 1stGens, the LOCATION isn't. And you WILL need to create some new folders in the mods folder for some of the items.

also, read the "creating a year/theatre specific install" -- should be pinned at the top of the forum

and, just as important -- you'll need access to the DAT site for 75-85% of the WW2 aircraft (good luck!)

any questions, ASK!! :)

In SFP2 the terrain folder is "TERRAINS", not "TERRAIN" as in SFP1.

I can't tell you how important that little difference can be. I remember early in my transition from SF1 to SF2 how many times I wasted time trying to track down problems only to find out my folders were labled wrong.
