It seems to be, that the flaps on the TW DLC Su-9 Fishpod are not working. In game, on the runway, the flaps are always in up position, they never come down.

In the su-9_data.ini i found the lines

[LeftFlap]
SystemType=HIGHLIFT_DEVICE
CLiftdc=0.2739
CDdc=0.0405
Cmdc=-0.0079
DeltaStallAlpha=-3.39
AreaRatio=1.050
DeploymentMethod=MANUAL
Setting[1].Angle=25.0
Setting[1].DeployValue=123.5
Setting[2].Angle=50.0
Setting[2].DeployValue=123.5
MaxDeflection=50.0
MinDeflection=0.0
ControlRate=0.2
AnimationID=2
;ModelNodeName=flap_L        >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I removed the ; before ModelNodeName but nothing happend.

Any idea, how to solve this?

I would say it cannot be fixed without access to the model and some additional work on it.

It seems to me as if TK planned to model flaps on the Su-9, but did not complete it.

Checking the model with mue's viewer, the inner part of the wing is solid, the flap is not a separate piece and does not have an animation assigned.

Apparently the flap is just painted, not modeled.

Same thing happens with the S-99/199. The pics below show what happens when you remove the ; comment from the _data.ini
