While I very much want the A-4E in DCS World and I will have to settle for what I can get, I want a professional/external flight model. Also, I don't see how they will be able to model the ground search radar. With simple flight model and systems, SF2 A-4's remain the best way to fly in combat. Until DCS has a Vietnam or Israel map, SF2 still remains the best sim for either of those air wars. But a DCS A-4 would be nice for Nellis Top Gun themed missions.

Picked up a copy.  Fun airplane to fly; really cool to see a freeware community mod making its way onto DCS!

View File [Fictional] McDonnell Douglas A-4Ö Skyhawk
McDonnell Douglas A-4Ö Skyhawk for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2
This is a simple mod of the stock A-4G (available at the Third Wire Strike Fighters 2 Downloadable Content Store) to create a fictional A-4Ö in service with the Austrian Air Force in the 1980-2010 timeline.

      INSTRUCTIONS
      1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the A-4G2 folder into your Aircraft folder.
      2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the A-4G2 folder into your Decals folder.
That's it! In the drop-down box you're looking for A-4Ö Skyhawk 'Austria'.

      CREDITS
As always, thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim.
And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community.
      Regards
