Today is the official 80th anniversary of the formation of the RAF Regiment, formed as a Corps within the RAF by Royal Charter  this day in 1942, Proud to have served in the Regiment, and proud of the heritage and traditions of my beloved Corps. PER ARDUA.

I crossed their path some years ago...... An outstanding outfit with some special people indeed.
