I don't really know how this happened, but the font for the menu and HUD has changed, text is now slanted and some letters and words are getting slightly cut-off, it's not game breaking in the slightest, but it is a bit annoying as some things have proven difficult to read. I will attach some screenshot examples. If anyone knows why this has happened and how I can fix it, it would be very much appreciated!

did you by chance edit or add a different HUDData.ini??? That's where the fonts are listed --->

TextFontName=Arial

[SmallLabelFont]

TextSize=12

this is what mine says, and it's never been touched

either that, or -- "I don't want to say it was aliens, but it was aliens"

I don't seem to have a HUDData.ini, where does it go?

The font used by the game is a system font. Did you removed something frome C/Windows/Fonts?

Not as far as I know, all the fonts seem to be there, including the one needed by the game.

I actually made a backup and then completely uninstalled and re-installed the game to see if it would get fixed and it in fact did not. I recently installed the Operation Desert Storm 30th Anniversary mod, and it was only after I had done that that I noticed the font had changed, but I'm not sure if they are related as I hadn't touched the base game in quite a while regardless, and even after uninstalling Desert Storm and performing a clean install with a fresh save file the issue is still there.

it's in the FLIGHT cat and after extraction goes into the /Flight folder of your mods folder. If you DON'T have it one (a /Flight folder) in you mods folder, something else is screwed up someplace other than that

Well I managed to solve the issue, turns out it was a problem with the Arial font on my computer after all. I downloaded a more recent Arial font pack and overwrote the one I had and now it's all back to normal, I think it was just defaulting to Italics for some reason. Still not sure what caused it but clearly it was unrelated to Strike Fighters 2.
