  1. Its embarrasing really ... my mother was Austrian so i should be fluent in german but when she tried to teach me when i was a kid i couldn't stop laughing so she gave it up ..*cough* .. well i digressed for a moment there. Did you ever play I-war 2 EoC Fates?
  2. Thanks Fates... it looks like the Babylon5 thingy is a free mod for the HomePlanet engine. And as i understand it there are english speaking people out there who are into this sim so there might be help for those interested in this
  3. T-Bone you have just made my day!
  4. Hey Telnets ...Looking forward to seeing some more
  5. we will mirror it here at BioHaz tomorrow
  6. hmm. 1) i have a PS2 that i use for sole purpose of playing PES3. The best soccer game of them all 2) my machine has died So technically i still own a PS2 but atm its just a paperweight :(
  7. Oh cool. Thanks Sledge I will take a look at them both. Looks interesing. But of course when i said "space-sim" i deliberatly put the sim-part in quotation marks: It might be a flaw in my character but i do prefer things with guns :D Perhaps some one would write a mod for the lunar lander and equip it with some mean looking lasers B)
  8. Thanks for letting us know Skypat. I look forward to chekking it out.
  9. I have never gotten the DivX codecs to work but i'll give it another go later if you say it works for you
  10. I must confess i allways had a soft spot for space "simulations" ever since the first version of X-Wing. I played all of them and allso I-War2 Edge of Chaos which i enjoyed alot even though the wonderfull universe dissapeared . The last thing in that genre that caught my eye was "HomePlanet" (not Homeworld). Its has been developed by russian Revolt Games and has what they call a newtonian physics model which should make the ships handle a bit more realisticaly than in X-Wing and other games where the ships are on rails. The only thing that has held me back is that russian and cyrrilic letters are beyond me and that they for some strange reason havent translated it yet. Browsing through the forums it looks like it was released in Spain and that a Polish version might be in the final stages. If anybody has tried it i'm interested in hearing about it. And i might even try it myself - Cyrrilic letters and all :)... if i can ever get my hands on a copy
  11. very good suggestion :D i'm sure that these files alone, when released, could strain the bandwith budget on any site
  12. as long as the people with Red vs Blue is in on it :D
  13. I spent my money on the insides the last time i upgraded but i did at least buy a good case for the fisrt time. Chieftec. They have since made some very nice looking see-through sidedoor which i might buy
  14. funny thing that you sometimes have to look elsewhere to find the best of what biohaz has to offer but there you go. The quotes is from the announcement on the officail forums. I strongly suggest you DL and watch that trailer. It is (IMHO) the best Lomac flic yet. The original thread can be found here. It includes some very nice splashscreens etc...
  15. I have mostly planes - but not all the time. They mix
  16. Sounds like quite a shock for you all. I hope she will get well fast.
  17. I thought i had posted on this allready but i cant find the post anywhere. Maybe i'm i'm just too tired. Anyway: This mod looks interesting. A knee map for lomac by Nicoleon. Now you can even see the FAQ in english
  18. thanks for the link. If you would like us to host at one point then just let me know
  19. It think it was Red Baron. But as you say it was a long time ago. If a quality WWI sim came out i would definately buy it.
  20. I just took a look a look at some sites with Knight Over Europe stuff. I think i would enjoy some WWI action. I haven't been missing it all that much but the pics of those fantatstic planes really got me longing for something without 45 different radar modes and discussions of the value of cobra manouvres. I just hope that it will be a simmy tiltle - i seem to remember that the few WWI sims i did play seemed somewhat arcadish.
  21. Glad to have been of assistance. They will be added to our DL section at the end of the month when the bandwith limit gets reset
  22. I'm not sure this is what you need since i don't know enough about these sticks but check out Shepski's files here
  23. I have found what looks like a knee-map mod. Interesting. Only problem is that my french isn't that hot so if somebody could give a little resumé i would be gratefull. French site thanks in advance
  24. i was convinced we had that in our file library but i have just chekked and we dont. If i mannage to find one i'll put it up - i'm just a little pressed for time today.
