  1. I don't know. I have two installs, one with the Italy stuff and other with the France stuff, all of them with all Peter01 FMs (and some mine, all of mine are based in Peter01's works), and I don't have the reticle in the Phönix... Not a big issue, these reticles were very primitive and "cosmetic" and the machine guns only useful at point-blank, so I usually open fier at 0.1 distance in game. So, reticle for what? (in my case)

  7. I truly love this plane! If you like this plane you'll love the DIIa. It's like this but in steroids! I think this is the true force of First Eagles against any other WWI sim out there: We can fly any plane of any country, not only the France Front stuff. I specially dig the exotic planes, as the Austro-Hungarian ones. Loborojo, ¡qué gusto hablar con otro madrileño por aquí!
  8. GOOD!!!!!! Have you FMs? Peter01 did the FM for the 185 Hp version. I have modded it to the 200 and 225 Hp in my Italian install. Tell me if you need the files.
  9. You can also reduce the distance of firing for gunners. It tends to be ridiculously high comparing the firing distances for fighters. It can be useful not to start losing framerates at 2000m of bombers.

  12. Sorry for late answer. I was sleeping. Yes, the draw you have is more correct, and yes, shouls be ripples in the tail, but more broadly that in the wings. Only two of them (not counting elevator tip). Once again, the model looks awesome
  13. Stephen, sorry to be a pain in the ass, but could you make an screeshot directly over the plane? It seems that the shape of the wingtip in the upper wing it's not correct. I'll explain: in the DIII they reversed the curve of the wingtip, moving the largest curve towards the trailing edge.Maybe you have not changed this because the original model was a DIII. So, the correct shape of the DII is reversing the curve of the wingtip. Only a minor fail. The model looks great!
  14. Well, I'm from Spain and I eat all sort of Spanish vegetables, cucumbers amongst them....since forever. And th best Spanish vegetables are not eated in Spain, but given to expotation. It seems that contamination was in fact a German fault in food transport and manipulation (E Coli grows in s**t, not in cucumbers). Not a single case of illness in Spain. But, of course, it was a Spanish fault for them.... Obviously, they are getting paranoid...
  15. Well, bad draw! It has the wings of a DIII, with four ailerons and the tail surface of a DI.... The facts: A DIIa with 4 ailerons was the first prototype of the DIII and two DII with 4 ailerons were the pre-production planes. The best draws and photos are in the book Wilches said The manual is bad too. It mixes the DIIa and the DIII history and characteristics. Not a very good font. It uses the Windsock datafile as a font, but very badly...
  16. This make sense. There are some nice features in the patch for free. I'm not against TK nor Thirdwire, but updating all my install (very nice now as is), seems to be an overwhelming amount of work (for now, at least until someone make patches cleaning the possible issues with Vietnam Gold, Independence war, NATO fighters, etc (I'm talking about environtment, skins, decals, squadrons and ini edits in planes among others). In addition to this, there seems to be problems with custom campaigns. I fly mainly campaigns and I have customized to my taste nearly all. I have spend many hours to tuning these campaigns, so, for now, I'll stay without updating, because my install works perfectly. I'm sure that in some time, TK will give us some fix to the issues. If so, I'll be very grateful and will update the whole thing. The fade thing is a little disgusting, but I can live with it, because all good things in the patch. The deffinitive show stopper for me is the breaking of custom campaigns.
  17. AAAAARRRRGGGGGHHH!!!!! I have a ton of 3rd party campaigns in my install, and other ton of stock ones heavily edited by me. I even did the cat thing with the Falklands mod thinking about installing the patch after all.... Too much work...Life was easy before the patch.

  19. I love this little plane! The final version is beautiful. I like the cockpit with the wheel and the engine sound is very good! Beware users! This plane is very nice and fun to fly, but remember: any foe better than a Fokker EI or Pfalz EI and you are in seious trouble!!! Now, Stephen, many thanks for this plane! PS: I WANT MORE!!!!

That's not good. You have to count the units on the red side and then, ggiving it te correct number. If you set ID number 113, you are counting blue and red units. You must give UnitID=number counting only red units. I have nearly all campaigns as two sided flyable and not problems so far....But expect in any plane, blue or red, if no suitable mission for the plane in a campaign day, the game engine will give you a recon mission. Good luck shooting down those capitalists!
  21. Well, too much terrain issues. Trees are a must have in Vietnam. I think I'll stay in December patch, but....How about the incoming MiG Alley mod???
  22. Some size differences, and early Es didn't have the birdcage canopy. Different engine as well.
  23. This plane is very needed in NATO Fighters. Much more historical correct instead IL-28s in the 1968 campaign.
