  6. Hi acesfakia I was hoping for just the top of the MK158 so that I could place it on the ship as a false missile. Just so it has more depth than copying whiteboy samurai vls from his ships that I have done below. But yes you are right I should have found some more info. Cheers Snapper 21
  7. I had this on the Libya terrain, as this was looking at the Desert cat I copied WaterTextureMaterial and matching Texture entries in the desert ini file into the Libya data file. Not sure if its the quickest or correct way of doing it,but it works for me. Cheers Snapper 21
  8. Hi riccisj All I copied from Razbam was the cockpit folder and the COCKPIT.ini file. Each plane ini file needs the \\ removed from the CockpitDataFile so CockpitDataFile=A-6E_COCKPIT.ini instead of \\CockpitDataFile=A-6E_COCKPIT.ini Cheers Snapper 21

  16. Hi All I am trying to use Hinchinbrookes HMS Eagle as a stand in WW2 Illustrious class, mainly because its a similar shape but most importantly it has 8 turrets on it! All 8 of the turrets rotate and the guns go up and down, but whatever I try I cannot get the port side guns to track and fire. My test is flying a FW-200 down port and starboard sides at about 1500ft, starboard shoot, port do not. I thought because they moved there would be nothing stopping the port side firing. I have copied the data file below. Has anyone got any ideas?   20. Hi All For your Pacific install I think it is possible to have AI Kamikaze aircraft. I took a Zero fighter renamed the folder, data and ini file so it read A62DW. Then amended the data file for ATTACK only. For dive bombing I had the following [DiveBombAI] RollInRange=4000.0 RollInAlt=2300.0 PullOutRange=000.0 PullOutAlt=0.005 ReleaseAlt=0.005 SecondPassRange=5000.0 SecondPassAlt=1600.0 ReleaseCount=1 ReleaseInterval=0.14 AimPitchOffset=1.0 I think the ReleaseAlt could do with a little adjusting as it seems to release just below the deck level, but here is a picture of an AI attack. My plane is sitting on the deck of the carrier. The bombs destroy the ship and the blast destroys the AI plane. A couple of things, I think Availability=Rare should be used, and make sure you have lots of AA guns on your ships. Oh and I forgot, you must have a bomb on the loadout, for it to work.   22. Hi SupGen I know the data files are in metres, my data file was a kind of middle ground between early war 50 feet 15m and end of war 2,400 feet 730 m drop height as stated in your link. Which is a hell of an improvement! Anyway off to try Wrenchs torpedo. Cheers Snapper 21
  23. Hi Wrench I have tried the CM route myself with the following data added in the data file. ( borrowed and modified from the TU22M3 [CruiseMissileAI] ReleaseRange=5000.0 ReleaseAlt=160.0 ReleaseInterval=5.0 It works to a point, that some of the aircraft come in low and slow, but some also launch from over a 1000 ft, not sure if some more work is need on the torpedo, I only changed it to cruise missile and fiddle with the min and max range.   24. Hi Wrench Yes it probably came from a few different sources, but now in my SF2 install not proper SF2NA, if the plane nation, map nation and Nations nation match up everything works fine. Also if the plane has StrikeNaval set up correctly I can fly non Ai strike missions against carrier battlegroups straight from single missions, no editing needed. Thanks Snapper 21
