  1. Expansion Pack 2 will be the definitive version of TSF 2 and replace all other versions in a single download. Please note that the trailer in some cases show works in progress that may not be representative of the final version. FEATURES: - Over 40 flyable aircraft from the World War Workhorses to the top modern Gripen and Hornet Fighters - all with their real world loadout options. - 10 Campaigns - Fly the Nordic Aircraft from 1950 to 2014 in battle against the Soviet Union and their allies. - Updated Terrain Tiles, Weapons and Menu Screens. - Optimized code; unused and outdated assets removed. Thanks to Angelp, Ravenclaw, Stary, Veltro2k and Paulopanz who have all contributed immensely to this project and without whom this would never be as good as it is today.
  2. Only SF2:E is really needed. SF2: NA gives a better experience but is not required.
  3. Yep. I was wondering how long it would take for somebody to make the connection :D Sadly, I have no idea what effects I added because they must have been added rather long ago. Probably some kind of effects pack available here.
  4. I can sure has hell complain about it if he at first UNLOCKS it. It is not like its vital stuff like LODs or Airplanes. It was mission types and the ability to have naval task forces. Its not a big deal for him - but for us modders it is. Since you DO mention TSF - Anybody who does not have SF2: NA is because of this going to have a subpar experience since the unique and interesting Swedish ASMs cannot be used as they are supposed to.
  5. Campaign Scripts like Crusie Missile attacks and ship task forces was in a patch unlocked for all players of SF2 regardless if they owned NA or not. Another patch locked this so it required NA. I need to do a recent test of this of course but last time I checked, you needed SF2: NA to have naval task forces and missions supporting them in the game and this was not the case right after SF2: NA released its first patch.
  6. I have still not forgotten that TK locked out NA Scripts from the base game with a fucking patch after I thanked him for not locking out the NA Scripts. Twat.

  9. Our birds was used for SAR as well as Naval Search duties. They could even provide target radar for corvettes hidden behind islands.

I have also thought about this idea, mainly because TSF have a fanbase outside the forums who I feel bad have to pay 25$ for a clearly outdated game If I was TK, i would have put the games up on Steam long time ago with a price of 10 or 15$ with links to the best mods at CA. I think that would make it compete better. Right now, its either SF2 or a DCS Module and many will choose a DCS module if that is the choice.

    I would love to buy it, paint it in Swedish Air Force F 8 Colours and put it up as a Gate Guard near the old F 8 Barkarby as a protest action for the removal of the hobby airfield at the old area. Sadly, I do not have the infinite funds to do so.

    Considering one of my side hobbies made me a Ubisoft Fan Rep, I get it for free. I was somewhat into the Beta but not the MP Portion of it. Hope the Single Player parts pays off...

  18. ... TSF have so far not had a splash screen. If you refer to the current main menu screen and loading screen - it is going to go. We are replacing our logo and updating the menu to high def. But all you need to do to keep it is to not install and overwrite the menu folder.
  19. That is just the splash screen - you know the thing you see while you start the game before the main menu. All flyables have their separate loading screens now too.

    This terrain is Starys Water-Only terrain, adjusted to be a Carrier duelling ground. It has two Carrier Stations and a few waypoints, as well as movement data to attack Convoys. There is no interference by ground based aircraft whatsoever, both Carriers has to rely on what they have available on their decks and is thus perfect for single missions. The Terrain can however also be used for Sea-Based Campaigns. Installation: Simply unzip into the Mod Folder of your choice. IMPORTANT NOTICE: This Terrain requires Strike Fighters 2: North Atlantic This Terrain may require some management of your Ground Objects. The key to this Terrain is the Ocean_NATIONS.INI. This needs to be adjusted to create the scenario you wish. As of right now, it is set to USN vs Soviet. It is imperative that you choose a year where both nations have a Carrier; regardless of the nations chosen. Do note that it does not have to be a Red vs Blue Scenario. Brazilian Navy vs Indian Navy, Indian Navy vs US Navy, Soviet Navy vs Brazilian Navy and onwards are all fun combinations in their own way. Not to mention the classic "Argentine Navy vs Royal Navy" ;-) To spawn a Carrier Group, there needs to be a Carrier and Escorts. Make sure the Carrier can house the intended aircraft! Troubleshooting: There are a few issues that may arise with this terrain, and all of them are based on your Ground Objects: My Nations/Enemy Carrier is not spawning: Check that you added the correct nation in the Nations.ini Check that the Carrier can carry the size of your aircraft (Some carriers can only house "Small" Aircraft and will not spawn if you chosen a "Medium" aircraft) Make sure the Carrier has a Name List. My Carrier has no Escorts: Make sure you have nation-appropriate Escorts. Escorts are ships designated as Crusiers, Destroyers and Frigates. This is done in the vessels Data file (WarshipClass=FRIGATE) For some nations, you can download Escorts but for others, you need to edit them for the nation you wish to use. Recommended Mods for use with this Terrain: Soviet Navy Vertical Pack WW2 Naval Units SF2: NA Ultimate Carriers Pack CVN Ulyanovsk Recommend you look in the Add-On Ships Section for anything else you may need.
