jap das war mir eigentlich schon klar nur wundert mich der grosse unterschied zwischen den beiden versionen , das mit dem H + C dummy interpretiere ich mal als " Handling + Computer " das würde auch diesen lüfter am heck erklären , also ein übungsgerät zur ausbildung von bodenpersonal während die andere version der einsatzwaffe wohl am nächsten kommt

auf dieser aufnahme kann man gerade noch erkennen das der untere schalter der version-2 sowie der lüfter schacht nicht vorhanden ist

und das hier sind die einzigsten bilder einer scharfen Kormoran2 leider nur von vorne , diese sucherei nach bildern kostet mich einfach zuviel zeit

that TK is creating DLC is fine with me but i realy dont like that you have to update your game to the latest patch each and every time you download one of this DLC and on the other hand most of this DLC was already made by some moder here at CA with the same quality or even better

as for me i stick to the SF2/E/V/I just for the fun of moding , as long as i still have fun with it , but in general i think Old Diego is right especialy with the release of SF2NA TK disappointed so many of us that where looking for some improvments in terrain

as for the future , i dont think that there will be any if TK continuous like this

von der Kormoran1 habe ich eigentlich wirklich gute aufnahmen bin aber am rätseln welche ist ne üb und welche ist die scharfe gewesen von den beiden die ich da aufgenommen habe oder sind beide nur irgend welche prototypen ???

im moment bin ich eigentlich für die version-2 , das model ist fertig muss mich nur noch entscheiden ob das heck so bleibt

und zum vergleich 2 bilchen von der Kormoran2 leider nicht sehr gut dafür bin ich ziemlich sicher das es sich um ne üb handelt da einige anbauteile fehlen die an der scharfen dran waren

check this settings for the canopy.tga in 3ds-max , you can play with the value to get a realy shiny canopy

i think this is what you can get with a tga , if you want some better result you have to reduce the transparency of the alpha chanel or you have to make the explosive chords as a 3D part

i did something similar in the F-16 cockpits

just send me your tga and i have a look at it

cover with tga , but the white part is transparent as well and it only works when the color is white , as darker the color as much more transparent it becomes (Black = full transparent)

Perfect, thanks - that answers my question. Then it's the painted up pseudo RF-8s as part of A&G Gold for now, until Ravenclaw and team works their magic. That works - Gold looks like fun, and I'm really enjoying the fighter version Crusader in the new WoV2, so life's still pretty good.

 

 

Raven, thanks for piping in. This will definitely be the mod I most look forward to. I've collected almost every publication on the Crusader, so if perchance you or your team need any reference material, I'm happy to provide. I'm certainly no pilot, fulltime historian, mechanic, or other formal F-8 subject matter expert. But I worked with Alphasim on QC/beta on their FS9 payware model back around 2005 - so yeah, I'm a bit of a "'Sader" nerd.

YAP is SF1 only

i got the RF-8A model 1or2 months ago from Crusader , it is a TMF model and needs some rework a cockpit and some nice skins so it is a lot of work that i can not do this year but maybe next year

YAP has got the RF-8G

 

another team is working (slowly) on the RF-8A

and Volker has the RF-8A

and a RF-8G can easily made from that model

No more Vipers for today !

Like I said before great work guys, however I noticed there was a difference in some of the data on radar performance in the avionics.ini file and in the data.ini file.

I'm not saying mine is right or anything, I'm just curious about what info you guys found and used etc.

you are right this values are not correct , i will look how we change that , by all the testing nobody notice that
