Very well written what if history. It is fascinatingly almost historically accurate. I liked reading it. Nice job on the aircraft, should be fun to fly on the indo-pak terrain . In real life, the IAF was actually at some point, actually interested in Lightning. It was shortlisted along with F-101,F-104, MiG-21F and Mirage III for a supersonic fighter. Reluctance of the Americans to sell F-101/104 to India, French asking for huge price for the MIII and declining license manufacture locally, and English not willing to sell the Lightning forced to the govt to select the MiG-21, coupled with the fact that they were ready to let India license manufacture the 21 in India.
