Sophocles that sounds great! I can't wait for your model! Yes the F-5E is probably a different beast, at least when it comes to the cockpit. But I think the community will help if needed once you get the baseline model done! And yeah, I know all about burning out on a model, it helps to do something else for a while to get your interest going again. For me this project has gotten me into SF2 again in a major way after having some down time, and I'm glad is has helped you too! Martin good, I look forward to it. We all do this part time when we can if we can, so nobody expects anybody to move heavens and earth. -

Morteza it is probably a mapping issue then. Send me a PM and I will take a lookie! More F-5 skins are good, but I am really waiting for new F-5s by Sophocles. From what I've seen these will blow our minds. Yes the Mirage is a the new TMF one, it is being worked upon by a small team of modders. I have only made some small things for it like the Rp-35 droptanks, new wheels and fin changes. Also working on the cockpit which is based on TMF work, updated by Brain and then further worked on by me.

That's so fricking awesome. I wish SF-2 terrains could look like that, even in theory. -
Yeah, I haven't tried the mobile games but they seem to have the potential to be entertaining for... 3 minutes. However: A Free-to-Play multiplayer SF-2 that makes you buy all the planes á la World of Tanks, with microtransaction financing. Man, that would be my wet dream, and could bring in some serious dough. No flight sim beats SF-2s fun factor imho!

Man, if he is that much in the red, why not start up a kickstarter for exp 3. Crowd-funding, and whatnot. I'd gladly pitch in 3x what it will cost to download if it means more features than otherwise would be made. Also, why not apply for Steam greenlight? getting on steam would be really big, especially if he'd put the titles on sale for something like 5USD for a limited time. It really is too bad. Well, I second Paulo, the game is what it is, we can make it as good as we want. Back to work.

Thx for the link Migbuster, found this awesome documentary about Iranian Tomcat drivers. I can just say wow, Grumman really outdid themselves with the F-14 and I have the utmost respect for the Iranians for managing to keep them flying for so long and with so much success. It is too bad international politics are such BS that the stupid embargoes continue to this day, despite US intelligence agencies confirming that Iran does not, in fact, have a nuclear weapons program and has no wish to go down that road. But international media drones on about Iranian nukes like nothing happened. Sigh. By the same rationale Finland should be embargoed too because, hey, we enrich uranium too. Awesome! Very crisp panel lines, I like! (feel free to send me a beta anytime ) I have been working on... stuff: First, I tweaked the farm tiles some to make it more desert and less.. olive drab. It didn't really feel like Iraq to me, it was too lush. So here, from high up: Comparison: What do you think? Is it better, should I keep this or the original? Then, I have been working on something that bothered me, namely the F-14 skin. I used the DLC skin as I had it, but as Morteza pointed out it is a tad light, esp the tan color is very light. Also, I don't want to force people to buy the DLC to get the mod working, so using my "faux-template-lazy-ass-method" I did some new ones that are 100% DLC free, even if I used the dlc skin as a guide. What do you think of the colors now (still WIP, decals etc needs fixing)
