  1. I suggest nvidia default settings...just use scale I use between 2 and 4 at most....dds causes lots of oddities with bumps...I find it makes the spec areas that are covered by bumps go lumpy.... I suggest Jpegs as they seem to be fine with the game and max.... also sometimes max settings for spec colour and level...plus glossiness if too high cause similar....let the spec map do the highlighting not the max settings..the Maps rollouts rather than main ones by texture selection boxes..
  2. "SAM Launch SAM Launch"...

If I was on this flight...that would wake a few people up eh...lol
  3. cut meshes on panel lines if possible...hides cuts well.
  4. with the ub download theres a decal and steering fix...did you download it too? I found even with fix...no decals work because no numbers.LST and texture list in the ub.ini arent present.
  5. did they come with UB or u make em...if urs post em up here.
  6. looks ok ...Ive found nice way to give the rivets that sunken in view.....copy layer set them to a mid grey(for better spec(or white even for height surrounding rivets to do same)) and add small amount of blur, medium sharp,to make shadows as small as possible giving the sunken look... basic render no bump or spec.. Left Rivets...basic 1 pixel with layer below of same rivets, and low average blur to add shaded sunken look... mid rivets with same but with reversed colour blurred 1 pixel... right rivets 1 pixel black...layer below is same rivets with average blur as per left side with reverse colour(white)...with additional blur to give more shaded look..whn appled to spec...right looks like rivets are sunken slightly and with shadow...

  14. some carried EMI Recce pods British RAF Phantom squadrons were role oriented, with the early strike squadrons (6, 14, 17, 31, 41, 54 and later 2 Sqns) carrying 4 x AIM-7 E-2 Sparrows, 4 x AIM-9D and mixes of SNEB rocket pods, 1000lb or 750lb iron (GP) bombs, or BL755 CBUs. A B61 nuke could also be carried on the centreline rack, or the SUU-23 gunpod or an EMI recce pod (although only 12 aircraft were wired for that) or the 600 gall tank. A strike camera could also be carried in the port Sparrow well. CBLS practice bomb carriers were another option. No British Phantoms, including the F-4J(UK), ever carried active ECM gear, even those German-based machines at the height of the Cold War. The only regular ECM carried was the tail-mounted RWR, which was passive. It used audio, plus strobes rather than alphanumerics to alert the crew to threats. The FG.1 originally did not have SUU-23/A 20mm rotary cannon capability like the FGR.2. The RAF added this capability from around November 1974 at RAF Leuchars. There were no ECM pods used as far as is known. The Westinghouse AN/ALQ-101(V)-8 "Dash Eight" was bought for Buccaneers and Jaguars, along with AN/AVQ-23 Pave Spike designators for the Buccaneers, in the mid-late 1970s, by which time Tornado was coming on line with its own special gear and the ageing Tooms were flying air defence. Phantoms at Missile Practice Camp at Valley could carry a missile launch photo pod based on an AGM-12 Bullpup body
