  2. its rather simple really...have a pylon made...add it to a\c as a fake pilot and place it in the co-ords of the model wings you want using mues viewer....there are pylons in some packs ive seen...ive a few in my pilots folder that I didnt add ....that someones made.
  3. you use the "fake pilot" method...load a model of a pylon as a ghost pilot" look in weapons downloads im sure theres some there and how they are added.

  9. I agree with frenchie...thats what happened to me...total removal of new files solved it....iirc it was soundfiles too..
  10. sounds like core file buggered m8 if its just after load screen...
  11. I remapped the berra and redone most of the textures....remade some parts that were chunky...will post screens in a bit. small bits to add like decals,warnings etc etc then adapt the old skins.

  13. reinstall...1st move all ur mods....then afer install...add them back 1 by 1 until you find which mod is causing problem...
  14. or just maybe they havent been working on it as they cant get to work in lockdown...im happy to wait if it turns out to be good.

    Douglas Super DC-3 C117D for SF2 converted from freeware models from FSX. by me Russouk ( a lot of hard work and some frustrating times lol) Contents........... 3 different versions....Civil,USN and USAF also dedicated C-117D cockpit. The cockpit has some Digital display for the later versions.....if you use the Pre WW2 ...I suggest using the DC-3 Cockpit I uploaded a while back....and copy pilot co-ords to the DC-3 cockpi.ini [CockpitSeat001] ModelName=C117_COCKPIT.LOD Position=-0.35, 6.6, 0.58 alter this line in DC3 pit if used. Pack contains 3 different a\c folders. DC-117D_CIVIL (6 skins) DC-117D_USAF (1skin ATM) and DC-117D_USN (5 skins) with damage model,and distance lods.. drop into objects \ Aircraft folder also contained is ssj100 pilot...If you prefer other pilots...open data.ini and alter the line.. PilotModelName=SSJ100_Pilot ......for the pilot you want This is a Beta so....The skins are not decal friendly yet....I will upload edited skins and templates for each so as to enable adding decals. If you prefer no spec maps just remove the spec maps from the skin folder......and change the spec options to stock C47 ones. Specular= Glossiness= Reflection= controls. default Gear and flap,brake keys also Cargo doors are Shift zero wipers shift and 8 for cockpit. H key turns on cabin light ...just for fun not effect on lighting. Engine spoiler flaps are auto...as are windows of cockpit Gear,Flap,Brake levers are animated ...not user contrrolled but auto. animated feet rudders etc.....Control sticks work too. Templates to follow shortly... Remember its a beta and any errors I might have overlooked I will fix.... Think ive covered everything.. NOT to be uploaded outside of Combat.ace.com under any circumstances.This item is freeware and not for any comercial use..... have fun and let me know if any probs. UPDATE.... Instructions................ copy Cockpit folder,and avionics and Cockpit.ini to Hawk folder. Add this to the Hawk ini CockpitDataFile=T1A_Cockpit.ini AvionicsDLL=Avionics70.dll AvionicsDataFilename=HAWK_AVIONICS.INI Tested in new hawk model,so if you use my current model....open its data.in and copy pilots position to the new cockpit.ini...so... [CockpitSeat001] ModelName= OpenCockpit=FALSE Position=x.x,x.x,x.x Animations...controls... Shift and Zero opens canopy.... H (hook) ket turns on gauges lights....basic but works... Animated canopy latches,brake lever,pilot feet and rudders,and working stick. also notice pilots digital watch....scoth taped to hud lol...... Cockpit uses opencockpit=False to use default value remove the line from the cockpit.ini.   24. Models all done I had odd mapping issues....needs skin finishing too...gimme few days will sort mapping and offer it up to someone willing to finish skin maybe

I know theres a few things about with info...thread about the types etc but nothing definitive. for example.. how Pressure_Altimeter Pressure_Altimeter_1 , _2 and _3 differ.. how data,affects when lights come on... what confuses me is values and positions... basics like gauge amounts ok.. things like [HydraulicSystem-pressure2] Type=OIL_PRESSURE_INDICATOR NodeName=HYD2_Pressure_NDL MovementType=ROTATION_Z ItemNumber=1 Set[01].Position=0.0 Set[01].Value=0 Set[02].Position=87.58 Set[02].Value=25.0 Set[03].Position=178.36 Set[03].Value=50.0 how are they arrived at ? Iassume fuel light eg is...if plane carries 1000kg then in ini its 1001 means empty see what i MEAN.. confused .com. why ? using basically same gauge as another a\c I have this [Altimeter] Type=PRESSURE_ALTIMETER_3 NodeName=ALTim_Needle CounterNodeFormat=alt_dig%d MovementType=ROTATION_Y ValueUnit=FEET Set[01].Position=0.0 Set[01].Value=0.0 Set[02].Position=360.0 Set[02].Value=1000.0 and now counters go backwards...though pivots etc are correct... also same for two altimeters and they differ in height displayed... im starting to regret doing pits lol.... one example.....in my c117 pit... I have a light texture set as light_ON in cabin....and its set to a dummy hook key and light comes on in new pit exact same but no show.... I think we need a thread where such can be posted.
