The question is this a true older EAW???.Seems like some kind of patch that goes in over EAW...With no supporting documentation from the author it would really be crazy to use it ,,maybe for the curiosity value ,,but I won't be a guinea..To me as far retro I'm willing to go is a vanilla 1.2 ..don't want to test something from an unknown modder who offers no support docs for his work..I'll stick by the offical versions and mods from trusted modders..

OK Managed to take a fly and started shooting at my own B-17's Hit two and saw a few chutes come out ..I suck at screen shots but took one with my P-51 fireing nice tracers but can't seem to post it....suffering through a failing drive and things are a bit buggered here until the 3rd when I can grab a new drive from amazon.. I got stuff all over two drives and no sense doing freah installs until i get the drive in Thats why I'm glad you have all the stuff on your site ..Might have to reformat the drive I have my sims on along with the new one..,,,but I can say I hit two and saw 3 or 4 chutes in passing over them..

Might be a few days Mark got a bit of a buggered machine until I replace a hard drive

Running PRO on a 1.26 install no issues except the menu screens remind me of the 60's...Turning the effects down to a value of 2 cured the contrails issue and things are running well

I'm lost there..I did at one time try to use a keypad and stick in EAW but that resulted in nothing working..Even now have the keypad plugged into a usb hub with switches and shutting it off still stops my stick I have to unplug it..Hopefully someone with the same stick can help or Mark EAW might know something..Good luck

Did you look in your EAW.INI file and scroll w down to where it says windows joystick =1 and make sure it says =1 And also make sure windows is set to use the stick..to use the stick

I agree with Mark seems too much of a coinstance to me..TBH I run both EAW versions and appreciate the work from all modders and wish all would just let it all go..I get along with all parties and hope it stays that way

I figure the shadows aren't what I would call a bug.A bug is something that messes up game play..I really don't worry over the shadows ,trees or whatever ..I fly different versions of EAW for different reason ..Some versions offer different features and I fly the ones I choose to Seems most guys do air starts and the shadows aren't an issue.I usually do ground starts but always from a cockpit view,,some times toggling the cockpit off and never noticed the shadows ans frankly don't care about them...Or the trees and water If I want top notch graphics I fly IL-2 1946

Thanks Mig Buster,,Went by what I knew from Adding mods to SF2 and got the terrain changed..Created a Terrains folder in the proper place and set it all up..

Decided to check things out guess it depends on the view point these look OK

Hi trying to get started adding some mods and a bit confused ..Some read me say copy to the Verdun, Cambrai, Flanders and Vogesen):I'm trying to install Jan Tumas seasonal tiles..I'm a bit familiar with modding SF2 and went into my C:\user]\Saved games\third wire folder and there's no terrains folder there..Do I just create one and put the things in there says the same "copy the two .ini files to your Terrain/wwiVerdun/ folder" there aren't these two folders except in the main game and they are .cat files ..Also can't find Edwards Verdun terrains any where .. Thanks for any help

Yep eye on the target at all times..And doing ground starts I always stay inside the cockpit and in the air just use the cockpit or no cockpit view
