Ya I think I had to pay like 4 or 5 dollars a month for EA until I picked up Madden 04... you get a year of EA online FREE!!! So when I buy NHL 04 I can just hold onto it and then register it towards the end of the year and get another year FREE!!! I think with the 03 series it was like a month free or something... wait on second thought maybe I should reread the contract, doesnt really matter I have seen any charges on my account from EA in atleast 2 months and I play NHL online every once and a while. They need to set it up so LIVE players can play against EA Online players... maybe some kind of profit sharing between MS and EA.

Bummer about the Xbox. EA online is always stable, and most of the people are pretty cool. I mostly play NHL online, since my cable modem doesnt handle all polygons in madden all that well (its a just a little choppy), but NHL runs very smooth.

Graphics are better. Moddling is way better. AI is way way better. Offseason/Owner mode kicks ass! I highly recommend this game for everyone. No Demo, but a few killer screens and vids at www.madden2004.com

I too learned of it from IL2.

Only mods I have are the VF111, VF51, VF143 skins and euro terrain. I've kinda shied away from the Air Force stuff. Oh and the SAM trail mod, and After Burner coloring. My hours are flexible, school doesnt start till the 25th, and I have insomnia anyway, so whatever time you guys wanna meet up... I'll be there. Cheers, Jay

Just got it, and about to test it.

Got these yesterday, I'm the one in the 111... damn heathens, they had no pity. I was supposed to torp the harbor of Anapa, so I loaded up the He111 and headed out low along the coast; unfortunatly a P-47 was able to knock out my starboard engine before he got wasted by an escorting fighter. I was able to run on one engine for a bit, but eventually had to bring her down (I thought I could still torp :roll: ). My plane was intact when I landed, but I'm sure the huge plume of smoke coming from the engine made me any easy find. It ended up being a strafing run on me... BUT! my gunners got 2 of em before that P-39 finally crashed into me. So here are the screens. :D

Chief did you get your IL2 package yet? Cause you need to get down with the MP. Join me and PCpilot and Dirickson, and you other FB owners need to get with it too.

<S>! Skip. Me and Chief have promised to try to keep up the Strike Fighters thing (although getting time to fly is a bitch). We thought you dropped off the face of the earth, and Chief was even considering starting a new squad... but that wouldn't be until patch 2 arrives. Status on the rest of the squad is bad. I have only had a few contacts from people, mostly from Gator, and I think Hedu, and Kidgalahad shot me an email a couple of months ago. I dont think any of them are flying SF anymore. Welcome back, I hope this isnt one of those times when you post and then dissappear for 4 months.

I know its a long shot until patch 2, but what the hell, lets set up a time and date on HL for an attempt at some action!

Oh the "Project Greenlight Flick", in case anybody hasnt had the misfortune of seeing this gem being created on HBO... I dont think you'll be missing out if you wait for it to come out on DVD, and then rent something else. Looks like the battle is like 5 mins long, then its teeny bopper sh*t. What else would one expect from Matt Damon and Ben Affleck?
