  2. View File SF2 TMF Mirage IIIC (AdA) Upgrade/Remod Pack SF2 TMF Mirage IIIC (AdA) Upgrade/Remod Pack 2/21/2024 -For SF2, Any and All- This is a full upgrade/remod pack for The Mirage Factory's Dassault Mirage 3C series as used by the French Air Force. Included in this package are 2 complete versions of the Mirage IIIC: Mirage IIIC ("standard" usage) 1) NMF - EC 1/2 Cigones 2) AdA Blue - EC 2/10 Seine (<1975) Mirage IIICi/SEPR (rocket boosted, single missile armed, no gun, interceptor) 1) NMF only - EC 2/13 Alpes They are set up and labeled to cause NO conflicts with the Mirage III's available as stock within the game or as a DLC from 3rd Wire. Everything needed is supplied, excepting those weapons used that are stock 3W items. Skins remain in their original bmp format. Each skin has 26 letter and number decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. Almost all markings are decals. The SF2 date switch is used on the standard IIIC, changing to the Air Defense Blue in 1975. For the most part, the skins are left 'attached' to the squadrons from when originally released 'way back when. When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Dropdown you'll see: Mirage IIIC (TMF) or Mirage IIIC/SEPR (TMF) So you can't mistake them for anything else but TMF Birds (tm). As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included. The 'Change Log' is, as always, in the Notes section below. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein For Oli and The Mirage Factory Submitter Wrench Submitted 03/01/2024 Category Mirage 3

  4. when I first read this, I though he was asking for a small pilot -- I didn't know Hobbits could fly!!! (i'll let myself out ...)
  5. Well, looks like Nightshade wins the Internet for today!!!
  6. Yeah, it's a stand alone terrain. Pretty sure it says that in the read me. You're gonna have to delete everything from the IcelandNA folder (if you have one), and start over. THIS one should already come with it's own folder, and if you look inside you'll find to funny files called "TFD" and "HFD", whcih the stock NA terrain does not use. I'd re-read the install instructions again, you cause messed this up really bad!!! (sorry laughing!)
  7. Yup. And with that, we'll just go ahead and shut this one down. Pity too.
  8. Basic computer skills are necessary; things like copy/paste, cut/paste, drag & drop, create folder, etc. EVERYTHING you add goes into the Mods Folder. READ the enclosed read me's inside the download -- all you need to know is there. For the most part, the instructions are very simple and easy to follow. And if done by the mod maker correctly <cough> all one needs to do is unzip, and copy/paste the provided folder(s) into the mod folder. It's not rocket science. Here's an excerpt from a text file from sometime in the past about installing an aircraft. REMEMBER -- this is just an example aircraft, but the procedure is the same and here's an excerpt from a recent upload of mine, with the Install Instructions
  9. In a way, those almost look like the EAW Europe tiles. Very nice looking!
  10. If released, will there be a full 4 season set??? (yeah, I know, just making more work for folks!!)
  11. that reminds me ... need to call and get a haircut, too!
  12. You just run each exe (SF2.exe, SF2V.exe, etc) to create the individual Mods Floders. The game will automatically merge itself Meaning: everything from one mods folder, example, SF2I, will have access to all the aircraft, ground objects and terrains from the other 4. I've not installed the full pack, with all the DLCs, but I'm pretty sure they'll all show up in their various forms in each and every mods folder. (somebody please confirm this! --one day I may have to do a reinstall!!! LOL!) **easy way to check, is after running the exes and creating the 5 mods folders, if for instance, you can fly the IsraelME map from the SF2E folder/exe)**
  13. in the Options.ini, try this: (the last lines) it can't hurt, and it does keep them around (meaning: i don't think it increases the 'draw distance', just keep them from fading out/away)
  14. it's actually called a 'columator glass" on reflector gunsights. just to clarify <gr>
  15. JL100 is also a stock weapon, the weaponsdata ini shows it has a lod, but I"d double check the Mirage 3E/5/5E etc lods in the Viewer to see if it not built into the aircraft, like the drip tanks it loads with SNEB68 rockets, also stock (but I"m sure Ravenclaws is MUCH better looking!!!! )
  16. points accrued from targets destroyed
  17. Yup, think of PR Spits and Mustangs in WW2 "" this looks like about the right spot ... start the camera!"
  18. as yakarov said; the same as navigating -- stopwatch, compass, map, known height and ground speed
  19. i have volume 1 of the Detail & Scale (bombers and tankers) on pdf if that's any help. Don't have vol.2, but have the EA-6B D&S
  20. they look ok to me! BPAO would get it right, I'm sure ================================================= The body and paint guys are NOT gonna be happy with me! OTH, the new damage tgas work just fine!!
  21. Can you change the Coke machine to Pepsi? but seriously, that's freeking AWESOME!!!!
