  1. AWESOME!!! (that Florida decal vaguely familiar!!!)
  2. <cough> <cough> Salvage Ops <cough> --- OTH, the YAP one, other than needing a new flight model, also has the dreaded/cursed shadow ropes, too. I have it. It's really not quite worth the effort to bring it up to date; its' doable, but.... Besides even though the Revamp Works are giving the mod away, it's still unclear on CA policy for "what was once payware, but is now abandonware". For a better stand in, you can take the F-100D_66, "recreate" it as a F-100_WW, and load it out accordingly. Backdate the ini to the start of the project, load it with cluster bombs and rocket pods. When the Shrikes arrive, use the loadout date switch. About 1/2 hours worth of work. (of course, this dosen't take into account decaling with accurate serials and such) == Looking good Steve!!!
  3. I have that same book, and a bunch of others... needed them for that recent B-57 mod i did. we have a HVAR 2-rack used for the F-84s that should be usable with some tweeking (personally, I pefer LAU-3s) as for the skin, have you looking in USAFMTL (Dave') B57 skin pack??
  4. it DOES need some work to fully make SF2 ready
  5. Thank you for the WW2 era F.3!!! Now, we few WW2 players don't have to go begging for one!!
  6. just a quick status report: Taiwan Straits terrain revamp nearly done. I should be able to release it over the weekend North Cape revamp has to be gone over again, as I forgot where I left off with it's rebuild! (oh, dopey me!) ArmourDave's F-105 Thunderchiefs nearly done; just trying to run down some more nose art images The F3D/EF-10 Skyknight has all it's skins, decals and ini work completed, I'm just awaiting to see if I get a new LOD with certain mesh fixes before release. If I don't have it before the end of they year, I"ll release it "as is" calling it a "provisional Beta" after Jan 1 next year. It'll be spllit into the F3D-2 and EF-10 as I've used 2 different cockpits for it's intended use in the Fleet (night fighter - F3D, Escort Jammer - EF-10)
  7. caption this: to warm up a cold winter night 'you light up my life' get your sunscreen ready (spf10000) just a ray of sunshine ...
  8. Just a couple of Thuds, from the upcoming salvage operation ...

  12. View File SF2 B-57B Canberra Ini, Skin & Decal Update Pak SF2 B-57B Canberra Ini, Skin & Decal Update Pak 11/30/2023 = For SF2, Any and All = * Full-5 Merged reccomended, but can be used in any game with access to the STOCK B-57B & F-4C_67 * ** Designed to REPLACE in total, any earlier mod packages of this type ** Some ini mods for the stock 3W B-57B that add a usable cockpit (albeit not perfect!, but VERY usable & functional), new avioncs ini, and adds the Nuclear Delivery Capability (tm) they had from inception. All this will make the aircraft Player Flyable (tm). Be advised, your game install MUST have access to the stock F-4C_67, as that cockpit is used in this mod. See "Notes" for more Whys. This mod includes a new skin, for the 499th BS, 345th BG with historical serial & Buzz Numbers for 24 aircraft. It should be noted, while correct for the 345th, I was unable to locate serials specifically for the 499th. The "Bat Out of Hell" nose art IS fictious, but historical as used on their B-25s during WW2 in the Pacific. I just thought it looked cool!. Also included (as seen in the SF2 CA Forum) is a new skin for the wing tip drop tanks as used on the Natural Metal Finish (NMF) skin. As of now, it's set up ONLY for the USAF NMF skin, but is easily used on any other NMFs. See "Notes" below are more instructions. The USAF NMF skin also gets 24 correct serial & buzz number decals, but they are 'generic' in nature, representing no specific unit. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them! You may with to unzip this archive FIRST before installing, to read all the crazed instructions. Also, please read the Notes section for more expositions on WHY I chose the cockpit I did. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein Submitter Wrench Submitted 12/08/2023 Category B-57

  16. SF2 WW2 Focke Wulf FW-190A-8 Pak

SF2 WW2 Focke Wulf FW-190A-8 Pak -- Something for the WW2 ETO players -- = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged ( Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) = *There is a possibility that this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However due to the excessive modifications made to fit into the SF2 environment, not all features will be avaliable.* *Note X2: this mod is designed for use =ONLY= in the ETO envrionment. Specific versions for use in the MTO will be released seperatly, if required* Mods, rebuilds, reskining/redecaling for Wolf's FW-190. This is the next of a series of FW-190 upgrades, that will cover those models (while still based off Wolf's original LOD), that were/are available from the 1stGen SF/Wo* mods previously released. With required upgrades for SF2. This mod is designed to REPLACE any 1stGen variant you may have in your WW2 ETO intalls. It is reccomended you delete the aircraft and decals folders of the originals, as to NOT cause any conflicts with THIS mod. This package contains 2 variants of the FW-198A8 as deployed in Western Europe. Skins/Decals in this pak are: Fw-190A8R2: 3/JG1 JG300 (early, "Wilde Sau" night camo) JG300 (Late, splinter/mottle with blue/white/blue Riech Defense Band) Fw-190A8R8 "Strumbock": 11/JG3 (from 1944 thru war's end) All Skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE. A (semi) compliant SF2 FM was cobbled together from various sources. As always, while it works quite well, further fine tuning is required by Experten. Sounds, pilot figures and weapons are included, as well a new SF2 version of my "box art" Hangar and/or Loading screens. Please note, the engine sound in this one has been changed to the AVHistory BMW 801 sound. It's reccomeneded you make this change to the FW-190A-1 that was recently released. It's a VERY simple text edit. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, the "Notes" section for other important stuff of interest. When discoverable, all original readmes are included for historical purposes. *Due to the age of the physical model (LOD), this mod is being released "as is"; PLEASE see the Notes section for more info* Dedicated to the memory of Bob "howling1" Hauser; a dedicated WW2 modder if there ever was one! Happy Hunting! wrench kevin stein
  17. cool! I'll get those sent over to you soon also, i repurposed the static H-19 as a Mil-4 Hound. it's "close enough for goberment work'
  18. even in-game, it primered in zinc-chromate!!!! ??? !!! LOL!!! looks good!
  19. JimBib: do you have Russo' Cessna T-50 on floats, and the Catalina. Russ did a Kamov 27 helo, standard and "folded" but it sinks into the ground, so not really usable
  20. Don't forget the static WW2 birds, and the helicopters (we could use some more Red Choppers, as all we got is the Mi-8) Is that a Caravelle & Comet I spy??
  21. The Shepard == coming to Disney

  22. The Shepard == coming to Disney
