  1. SF2 Soviet Transport and AWAC Aircraft by Veltro2K

SF2 Soviet Transport and AWAC Aircraft by Veltro2K

    = For SF2, Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED! =

This is a Re-release of the Veltro2k's Soviet/WarPac Transport and AWAC aircraft.
It is REQUIRED that you have SF2NA in your merged install, as several of these reference
the stock 3W Tu-95 Bear destroyed model. Some reference the stock 3W An-12 destroyed
model. Hence, the need for a Full 5 Merged install. It is usable without, but you won't
have the dead wreckage on the ground. Also, the AWAC versions use the "AEW" avionics
    coding from SF2NA.

Included in the pak are remods of:

    An-22 Cock
    A-50 Mainstay AWAC
    IL-76 Candid
    Tu-114 Cleat (Aeroflot airliner)
    Tu-126 Moss AWAC

Aircraft that were exported have userlist inis included (ie: the Il-76). Any that I
missed, End Users ™ are encouraged to 'fill in the blanks', and post those changes.
All avionics, in particular for the AWACs, have been brought up SF2NA standards at the
July 2012 patch level. New sounds for the prop engines are included. Although cockpits ARE
included for all aircraft, really people...let the AI handle them. They exist for 2
    reasons: eye candy and targets.
Skins remain in their bmp format, and decal radomization is set to TRUE. All decals
reference stock markings, including the Bort numbers. New damage textures are supplied, in
    DDS format.

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read
them!!! Also, give the "Note" section a read, in particular on operational usage.
The Legal Statement has been changed with regards to these aircraft.
For those that still have the original releases, as there HAVE been changes and additions
in several of the inis, you may wish to examine them, mostly in respect to SF2NA, you may wish
to replace the originals with these.

**These aircraft herein are released in "AS IS" Condition. Any and all issues/problems
that cannot be solved via ini edits will exist forever, as new models are unlikely to be
    created**.

    Happy Landings!

  2. SF2 WW2 MTO Fiat G-55 by Veltro2K

    SF2 WW2 MTO Fiat G-55 by Veltro2K 3/25/2015

    = For SF2, Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED! =

This is a Re-release of the Veltro2k's WW2 Italian Fighter.

This is a fairly "quick and dirty" upgrade for Veltro's Fiat G-55 Centauro. It's been given a "new" FM, but as always, will need some fine tuning.

I've split the 2 skins, into "before and after" the Italian surrender of 1943. You have:

    51 Stormo, RA (circa mid-1943)

Squadriglia Montefusco, ANR (post 10/1943 -- although the paint scheme is more in Luftwaffe style)

I did NOT use the SF2 "date switch" for these.

*Please note that the Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana, is =NOT= on the existing ww2 Nations.ini. Nor is the Allied-aligned Aviazione Cobelligerante Italiana. If you want, you'll have to create the new nations yourselves. See "Notes" below.*

Skins remain in their bmp format, and decal radomization is set to TRUE. New damage textures are supplied, in DDS format. My standard "box art" style hangar and loading screens are also included. And, thanks to Mue's Lod viewer, I've exported a lined map psd for those wishing to attempt to create other skins. This should give you a base to draw new panel and rivet lines.
A userlist ini was created, but is incomplete (most post-war versions were Merlin powered).
Included are a pilot figure, AvHistory engine sound, and a new drop tank. All other weapons you should have in the WW2 weapons pack (it uses LW bombs, until we get freeware Italian ones)
The canopy open/closes with the Standard Animation Keystroke ™ (shift/0).

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Give the "Notes" section a glance, as well.

** The aircraft herein is released in "AS IS" Condition. Any and all issues/problems that cannot be solved via ini edits will exist forever, or until such time as if/when new models are created and released.***

    Happy Landings!

  3. XvT/BoP Alliance Operation "Battles in the Outer Rim Territories"

XvT/BoP Alliance Operation "Battles in the Outer Rim Territories"

For XvT =WITH= BoP addon (original CD) or the new GoG version

ORT provides over eighty new missions over five new tours of duty. The timeline is from approximately Hoth to the Battle of Endor (sorry, on 2nd Death Star runs, but the aftermath of), and into the post-Imperial era, and the formation of the New Republic.

These have been converted for use in XvT/BoP, in BoP format due to the need for BWs and other ships only available there. All stock ships are used, so no ship patch is requried (other than having the BoP addon if using the XWCD. The new GoG versions already have what's needed).
In many of the missions, you'll be able to fly more than one flight of starfighter. In later missions, (post-Hoth) CM pods have been pre-loaded.

As always, =PLEASE= read the install instructions. Also, the original builders and my notes at the bottom! The large(ish) description, from the original 1990s readme, is located at the bottom of this document.

  4. MD-450 Ouragon template set

    MD-450 Ouragon template set

This is my "Home Grown" Template set for Pasko's French Jet Fighter. They are 1024 x 1024.

Multi-layered PDS format templates. There is only one template for the wings (Left Wing), as the right and left wings are mapped identically.

Be adivised, that if NOT in natural metal finish (say, a camo of some kind), the right lower aileron is NOT mapped correctly. There are several skins now available that show how to correct this (ie: via a decal). The right aileron psd is also provided.

I've also supplied a blank, generic NM skin, in bmp format.

Please feel free to make any correction, modification, etc. I only ask they said improvements be made available to the entire community.

    Happy Sinning!!!!

  5. Seahawk F.1A, "What If..." Korean War Mod

Seahawk F.1A, Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm - A "What If..." mod for SF/WoV/WoE, Korean War installs

This is a mod of Bunyap's Seahawk into a "What If..." version, as might have been used by the FAA during the Korean War. It's a sort of "kitbashed" version, as I've combined the F.1 and FB.3 versions, to give a sort of field-modification feel to the weapons loadouts. I say 'kitbashed', when perhaps I should say 'combined', as the F.1s never had any provisions for A-G munitions; no rockets, no bombs, no napalm -- just their guns. So, I figured, due to the extingincies of war, the MoD and/or crews in the field, perfromed a hack-job, and "borrowed" the mounts and wiring and other etc bits off other aircraft to give them the capability to load and fire the 60-lb rocket, so prevalent on RAF/FAA aircraft.

The skin, which is 'borrowed' from the FGA.6, has been repainted, from a new partial template (new panel lines added where necessary), with the black-and-white Invasion Stripes used in the KTO for identification of Allied/UN/FAA aircraft (as seen on the Sea Fury, Firefly and Seafires). One of the best things about Buny's Seahawks, is they're all mapped identicaly, making the job soooo much easier.

The skin represents 898 Squadron, Fleet Air Arm, embarked aboard HMS OCEAN in the very-late 1952/early 1953 time frame. New decals have been created by me, with serial numbers for 24 aircraft (probably at least twice the number in a Royal Navy carrier squadron). The serials are 100% accurate, as they ARE all from production F.1s, but since this is obviously a 'What If...' aircraft, they can't be considered accurate for the Korean War. (neither can the aircraft, but what the hell...it's a game and all for fun!!!)

This is an almost full aircraft package, with all the inis, skin, new decals, lods etc. Excepting that NO cockpit has been supplied with this aircraft. However, for WoE users, I've included a modified version of the HunterFGA9 cockpit ini, with the pilot positon adjusted to match the physical model. In my estimation, it's the best one available, as it has that nice Post-War/1950s steam gauge look. As an alternative, for SF/WoV users, I've included the cockpit ini from my 'jet-modded-Spitfire pit'. You'll see it as "SeaHawk_cockpit.ini". You'll need to download my WW2:1946 Vampire to obtain all the necessary cockpit bits. More, highly detailed, step-by-step information is below, in the "To Instalate" instructions.

2 Hangar screens have been supplied; one is my old version and another BRAND NEW!! -only available in this mod- WoE style, repsenting a carrier deck. The Loading screen is still the original from Bunyap.

=You MUST have the Bunyap Weapons Pak to have the WW2/Post-War/Korean War Era weapons!!! I've not supplied any of the rockets or drop tanks with this mod, as they are already in the BunyPak. If not using the BunyPak (ie: TMF Weapons Pak), you'll need to get the Seahawk Package at CombatAce, as it contains the drop tanks. The Rockets you'll have to add from the BunyPak =

IMPORTANT: This aircraft is designed to be used in SF/WoV/WoE -- it has NOT been tested in WoI. In fact, I don't think I've even flown ANY of the Seahawks in WoI yet!!! But it should be good as is. It's a jet, not a prop job; so hopefully...

As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed install instructions.

    Happy Landings!!

  6. XvT/BoP Imperial Mission Set "Fall of the Empire"

XvT/BoP Imperial Mission Set "Fall of the Empire"

(works with original CD version and new GoG version)

For XvT w/Bop Addon, or GoG version -no ship patch required

These are to be used/placed into your ...Balance of Power/Combat folder.
We have 3 interrelated mission sets, now combined (sort of!) into one, providing a coherent story line.
The 3 sets are broken down as follows (from the original readme, circa 199-something!):

    =======================================================================
(This tour of duty takes place right after Enemies of the Empire in TF.)
    =======================================================================
Fall of the Empire: Part I --
Grand Admiral Thrawn, after crushing the traitorous Admiral Zaarin,
decides to transfers a division of his best pilots from his fleet
to a NL-2. Outpost NL-2 was just constructed in the remote sectors
of the Pakuuni System. Currently the only personnel aboard NL-2 are
a skeleton crew under the command of Commander Gaver.
Grand Admiral Thrawn was also given secondary orders by the Emperor
himself. As Thrawn prepares his fleet for the Unknown Regions, a
battle is raging in another part of the galaxy far, far away...
    -------------------------------------------------------------------
Fall of the Empire: Part II --
It is a dark time for the Empire, with the loss of the second Death Star and of Emperor Palpatine. Thousands upon thousands of worlds are rebelling against the Empire.
Word has spread fast of the Emperor's death, as well as the Alliance's victory at Endor. As seen in the Pakuuni Star Systems, strong Imperial Outposts are being lost.
Imperial Forces in the Outer Rim are being driven back to the Core Worlds. There, the Imperials are reorganizing the Empire before it crumbles to ruins...
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fall of the Empire Part III --
It has been several months since the Empire's defeat at Endor,
and already the Empire is loosing its grip on the galaxy.

Under the command of new Imperial Leader, Grand Moff Selit, the
Empire may still have a chance at regain its former glory.
However Selit's plans may have to remain on hold. Evidence has been
found showing that the Alliance has secrets of their own...
    ------------------------------------------------------------

Many of these missions have additional goals, messages (which are often used as in-game hints), and various "eye candy" added. The original conversion (XvT/BoP) set required a ship patch to add some of the larger starships; it has been re-edited to use ALL stock craft.

As always, =PLEASE= read this enclosed readme for full, detailed install instructions. Give the "Note" section a read too, for well, notes!

  7. XvT-BoP: Imperial Training Missions

    Imperial Historical Training Missions

= For XvT, with BoP add on (REQUIRED!!) =

(Works with original XvT/BoP CD and GoG versions)

This is a set of 20 Imperial "Historical" training missions.
You may recognize them from TIE Fighter CD or the recently released GoG Win7 TF versions. It should also be noted, several of these DO already exist (in some form or another) in the Stock XvT/BoP Training missions.

They have been converted to run in XvT with the BoP add on, as several things have been modified from their original 1990s release, and several ships required ARE only in the BoP add on (the B-Wing being the most important!).
Also, there are =NO= missions that use the TIE Defender or Missile Boat. These HAVE been converted, but are not included until we can be sure a ship patch will work on the new GoG version. When (and if) that happens, those 8 missions will be released as an add-on to these.

These are to be used/placed into your ...Balence of Power/Train folder. As these ARE training missions, and not (really!) full combat.

Many of these missions have additional goals, messages (which are sometimes used as in-game hints), and "eye candy" added. I've tried, as much as possible, to keep the "feel" of the originals.

As always, PLEASE read this enclosed readme for full, detailed install instructions. Give the "Note" section a read too, for well, notes!

  8. XvT-BoP Mission Pak - Rebel Operation: Wolf Pack

XvT-BoP Mission Pak - Rebel Operation: Wolf Pack

*Note: these missions have been converted to BoP format. This is required, due to some of the ships needed for them are NOT in "standard" XvT. No ship patch or other mods are needed*

This is an 11 mission campaign for Xwing vs Tie fighter.

    Introduction:
Green Squadron flees the destruction of the Rebel Base at Hoth to the Sigma sector to raid Imperial shipping. Here it is hoped they can regroup, refit, contact other fleeing Rebel forces, and continue the Fight for Freedom in the Galaxy.
This sector of the Empire is far removed from the front lines. This should be an easy (read: safe) hunting ground.
Many of these missions have additional goals, messages (which are sometimes used as in-game hints), and "eye candy" added.
As always, PLEASE read this enclosed readme for full, detailed install instructions. Give the "Notes" section a read too, for well, notes!

    - for either original XvT/Bop CD or GoG versions -

You are a recent graduate of the Alliance flight officer's school. Upon graduation, you are assigned to the Nebulon B-class Frigate LIBERATOR.
The Liberator is an independent operations frigate. It's new tour is a nearly year convoy raiding mission into the Outer Rim Territories.
These missions are in BoP format, so that's required. No other ship patch or mods are needed (At least for the new GoG versions).

Original mission set for XWCD by M.J. Grover, 1993
Converted for XvT/Bop Use by me (circa 2000, but updated 2/2015).

  11. XvT-BoP "Headhunter TOD"

X-Wing vs Tie Fighter, Balance of Power Mission Set
    "Headhunter Tour of Duty"

The Headhunter Tour of Duty follows the exploits of Bronze Squadron.

Bronze Squadron has no permanent base and limited resources. "Living off the land" requires that they have a strong mobile core. The squadron is based around a few Old Republic Dreadnoughts and a variety of captured equipment. While Bronze Squadron has a few modern
fighters, the bulk of its force is made up of older models such as the Y-Wing and Z-95 Headhunters.
Help Bronze Squadron fight the Empire in the Outer Rim.

Original XW missions set (circa 1994-ish?) by Chris Shock

Converted for use in XvT w/BoP addon (Or the new GOG versions) by Kevin "Wrench" Stein

PLEASE read the enclosed readme BEFORE installing this mission set. There is VITAL information on "how to" and "what to do before".

  13. SF2 WW2 ETO, "D-Day" Spitfire IX Blank Skin set

SF2 WW2 ETO, "D-Day" Spitfire IX Blank Skin set 1/12/2015

-- Something for the WW2 ETO players --

= For SF2, Full-5 Merged (w/whichever Expansion Pak gave us the Spitfire IXc) =

Using my Home Grown Templates ™ for the stock 3rd Wire Spirfire 9c, this skin set adds the D-Day Invasion stripes set.
This is a "blank" skin, with no marking other than the Invasion Stripes, and can be used with any of the available decal sets for the stock Mk.IXc AND Mk.IXe. A simple rename of the textures will allow it's usage on either one. See "Notes" for more details.

The stripes represented here are the 'full' set, top/bottom of wings and fully wrapping around the fuselage, as used from June 6, 1944 to approx September 44 (ish). The Sky ID band has been omitted, although photographic evidence exists of it having been used, even with the Invasion stripes. Yellow wing IFF bands remain.

REMINDER-- this is not a 'full' ready-to-use skin pak. The folder is just named "DDAY" for convience. You'll have to create specifically named skin folders (ie: 411-DDay, for example) for proper, historical usage.

There is no decals or texture set inis included -- however, a "base" texture set showing the in-game labeling is included, but NOT usable per se. It's just there to show how to set the Displayed Name labeling.
As the mapping for both the 9c and 9e is identical, as are their respective decal positions, any of the existing Spifire 9 decal sets can be reused with this skin.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please =READ= them !!!.

  14. SF2 WW2 MTO Spitfire Mk.IX, Polish Fighting Team Skinpak

SF2 WW2 MTO Spitfire Mk.IX, Polish Fighting Team Skinpak 1/8/2015

-- Something for the Med players --

    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*This mod will NOT work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, at any patch level. One should also have the SF2I expansion pak, that gave us the Spitfires, as this mod REQUIRES the 3W Spitfire Mk.IX,

This package contains a new skin for MTO (specificly Tunisian) based RAF Spitfire Mk.IXs. It represents

"C" Flight, No. 145 Squadron, aka "Polish Fighting Team"

All marking are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE for the 16 plane-in-squadron and serial number decals. Serial numbers marked with a star (*) are 100% historically matched to their plane-in-squadron number. Those marked with a cross (+, ok the plus sign!), while having served with the PFT, could not be matched to a specific aircraft. Those without any markings, are 'generic'. It should be noted, that the PFT used numbers, instead of letter for their individual IDs.
Please note, this is just the skin/decal set. I've not included any of the bits needed to make the aircraft Player Flyable ™. There's plenty of other mods that do this.

When in game, on the Loadout Screen, you'll see

    Polish Fighting Team (145 Sqdn)

in the upper right skin selection drop down.

units that transitioned to the Sabre from other aircraft (Mustangs and Shooting
    Stars).

Skins/decal sets are for the following units...

    67th FBS, 18th FBW (in it's mid-1953 markings)

    35th FBS
    36th FBS
    80th FBS, 8th FBG (Wing?)

All skins are in jpg format, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. Almost all markings
are decals, excepting Squadron/Group/Wing markings on the tails and/or nose.
    These are painted on.
The serial/buzz numbers are 75-80% historically accurate. In each skin's Number.lst, those marked with a
star (*) are 100% matched to their unit. Those marked with a cross (ok, the plus
sign, +) served with that Group/Wing, but could not be matched to a particular
squadron. Those with no mark, are 'generic' F-86F-30 serials

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included.
    So, please read them.

    SF2 WW2 MTO Spitfire Mk.V LF Pak by Cocas & Co 12/28/2014

-- Something for the Med players --

    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*This mod will NOT work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, at any patch level. One should also have the SF2I expansion pak, that gave us the Spitfires, as this mod references that stock 3W destroyed Spitfire model*
Note x2: This mod represents Mk.V LFs in the MTO =ONLY=. Please note, it is NOT a Trop!

This is a BRAND NEW aircraft, brought to you by Cocas Aircraft Factory & Co.
We are calling this "version 0.9", as there exists the possibility of more work being required. But, we wanted to get them out into the hands of our WW2 End Users ™ for their examination and so forth. It was supposed to be released in the early part of 2014 (Feb/March), but I totally forgot about it!!
Skins included with the package are:
    RAF:

    No. 601 Squadron

All marking are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. Other squadrons can easily be done by creating new squadron code letters. An SF2 version of my "box art" style hangar is included.
The serial numbers, while 'generic' in nature (representing no particular aircraft in any given squadron), ARE correct for the variant depicted.
The canopy operates via the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0. Guns are also grouped, MGs in Group 1, the cannon in Group 2.

    When in game, you'll see:

    Spitfire Mk.Vc LF (CAF)

on the aircraft selection dropdown menu. This will diferentiate =THIS= Spitfire from any other LF Mk.Vs you may (or may not) have.

A new, revamped version of the skin found in Paulopanz' C-47 Pak. This has a new replacment natual metal skin for the:

21st Troop Carrier Squadron, aka "The Kyushu Gypsies"

as seen during the Korean Conflict.
All markings (exepting the tail band) are decals; decal randomization is TRUE. Serial numbers are 100% historically accurate for this unit. Please note, 2 or 3 of these aircraft were "on loan" to the USAF from several UN Allied forces (Greece, iirc). They are also accurate, but carry the American insignias.

  19. SF2 KAW AD-4NL Skyraider (3W)

    SF2 Korean War Era AD-4NL Skyraider (3W) Ver 4.0 12/28/2014

    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

**Full 5 URGED, due to use of some SF2NA coding! As this mod references the stock 3rd Wire Skyraider, you =MUST= have SF2:V as part of your merged install. If you don't, this mod will not work.**

This is a 'new' version of the AD-4NL Skyraider, built from the 3W A-1H. It is designed to replace completly any & all earlier versions built from MontyCZ's Skyraider.
It's your choice (the End User) if you wish to keep or delete the early version.

This mod represents AD-4NL's from VC-35 "Night Hecklers". The squadron was deployed in various "Dets" of 2-4 aircraft aboard almost all USN Carriers during the Korean Conflict. This is designed for a stand-alone KAW mods folder, but can be used in any Full-5 merged install. However, several SF2NA only statements are included, and may only fully work in that environment.

The aircraft is fully carrier-capable; after all, it's built from a Stock 3W carrier bird!
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE.
All the necessary weapons, effects, sounds and etc are included, as is the NEW Skyraider cockpit by Dels. Those with the MCZ version will note they are all the same, but included for ease of installation.
Standard Animations keystrokes are used for the canopy (Shift/0) and wingfold (shift/9). However, due to some "malfunction", don't fold the wings with ordenance loaded. They won't follow it!

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, PLEASE read them!!!!
Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. There is important information on Night Operations (what VC-35 specalized in).

    = For SF2 (Full5 Merged RECCOMENDED!)

*This mod is set up with some SF2NA coding. Use in other envrionments is "at your own risk*

This is a version of Hinchbrooks IJN Zuiho class light carrier.
As some have found the original 1stGen version is "faulted", I hope this will be better for you all.
Mind you, it's NOT fully converted, as the "parking slots" have not been plotted. Some of the muzzle positions for the 25mm AA batteries are not near the muzzles themselves.
But this will give you an operational IJN light carrier. All the "needed" files for use in the SF2NA enviroment are included (inis, "collision lod", etc).

*This mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, at any patch level. It was built for SF2 ONLY!!.*

**REMINDER: this pack is for PTO Razorback Jugs -only-!!! And by PTO, this means SoWesPac, NOT CBI, not the Solomons, etc!!! This would include New Guinea, points north and west, and obviously the Philipines.**

This is a new skin for Cocas' PTO P-47D Razorback Thunderbolt. If you don't have it already, you can get the aircraft at the following url:
    http://combatace.com/files/file/15204-sf2-ww2-pto-republic-p-47d-razorback-thunderbolt-by-cocas/

    The skin included is for:

39th FS, 35th FG, as seen in the Phillipines in mid-1944 (also slightly earlier)

It represents the aircraft in their later scheme, up until the time the 35th converted to Mustangs. (oddly, almost all of 5th AF Jugs carried the tail stripes of one kind or another).
All markings are decals, and Decal randomization is TRUE.
The aircraft is finished in Overall Natural Metal, with "new style" Southwest Pacfic markings as of mid-1944. These are the pre-war style red rudder stripes, with a blue leading edge on the Rudder.
Please note, SWP Theatre, Squadron and/or Group specific markings -ARE- painted on.
The serials herein should be considered "generic" in nature, but ARE for the correct model variant.

  23. SF2 WW2 MTO Republic P-47D "Razorback" Thunderbolt by Cocas

    SF2 WW2 MTO Republic P-47D "Razorback" Thunderbolt 12/22/2014

    = For SF2 (Full4/5 Merged RECCOMENDED!)

*This mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. It was built for SF2 ONLY!!.*

This is a BRAND NEW aircraft, brought to you by Cocas Aircraft Factory & Co.
We are calling this "version 0.9", as there exists the possibility of more work being required. But, we wanted to get them out into the hands of our WW2 End Users ™ for their examinations and so forth.

REMINDER: this pack contains MTO Jugs only!!! Other theatres/users will follow as time permits, and as they are completed.

This pak contains a NEW model, representing the Razorback P-47D Thunderbolt in the MTO as seen in late 1943 through war's end.

    Skins included are:

    15th AF:

317th FS, 325th FG - this is withOUT the Checkertail markings
317th FS, 325th FG - this is WITH the Checkertail marking; called "317FS_L"

The "L (or Late)" skin uses the SF2 'start date switch', to turn on automatically in April, 1944. By this time, they had finished painting all the checks on all the tails of all the planes in all the 325th's squadrons. These were carried until the Group converted to Mustangs (and had to start all over painting the checks again!!).

The aircraft is finished in standard OD/Grey, with MTO theatre markings on the cowl.
All markings are decals; excepting the 325th Checkertail and MTO theatre markings; these are painted on. Decal randomization is set to TRUE.
There is one base set of decals for both skins. As this is for just one squadron, it makes for a sligtly smaller up/down load package.
There -are- some nose arts, and you'll find them listed with the individual aircraft number drop down on the Loadout Screen. They are matched to their 'plane-in-squadron' Battle Number.
Damage textures are new, in DDS format. The Hangar Screen is a rather 'generic' type.
The canopy opens/closes with the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0
Pilots, sounds, weapons are all included.

Templates for this aircraft will be issued as a seperate release, for those skinners that wish to do other units for other theatres or Allied users.

As there are several P-74D Razorbacks available, when in game you'll see:

    P-47D-20 Thunderbolt (CAF)

on the aircraft selection dropdown menu. This will diferentiate it from any others that are around (Wolf or DAT).

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, as usual, give the "Notes" section a read, too.

  24. Cocas P-47D Razorback (ETO) Replacement Data Ini

SF2 WW2 ETO Republic P-47D "Razorback" Thunderbolt Replacement Data Ini 12/23/2014

    = For SF2 (Full4/5 Merged RECCOMENDED!)
*This mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. It was built for SF2 ONLY!!.*

Replacement data ini for the Cocas Aircraft Factory P-47D Razorback. The aircraft is available here:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/15199-sf2-ww2-eto-republic-p-47d-razorback-thunderbolt-by-cocas/

The full package is also getting the update. So, for that that have downloaded it already, use THIS data in.
For that that haven't downloaded the aircraft yet, it will be included in the updated version (and what's stopping you from getting it???)
All follow on Razorback mods (PTO, MTO, and maybe CBI) will incorporate this data ini.

This FM has been slightly refined, and these fixes should (almost) stop the "tail stall" and end-to-end flip. Again, while not perfect, this is a bit better. Further refinements by Experts are most heartly requested!! (Roll rates may still be a little low, as well)

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! And, apologies for the inconvience!

  25. SF2 WW2 ETO Republic P-47D "Razorback" Thunderbolt by Cocas

    SF2 WW2 ETO Republic P-47D "Razorback" Thunderbolt 12/22/2014

    = For SF2 (Full4/5 Merged RECCOMENDED!)

*This mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. It was built for SF2 ONLY!!.*

This is a BRAND NEW aircraft, brought to you by Cocas Aircraft Factory & Co.
We are calling this "version 0.9", as there exists the possibility of more work being required. But, we wanted to get them out into the hands of our WW2 End Users ™ for their examinations and so forth.

REMINDER: this pack contains ETO Jugs only!!! Other theatres/users will follow as time permits, and as they are completed.

This pak contains, as stated above, a NEW aircraft, representing the Razorback P-47D (-5 thru -20) Thunderbolt as seen in late 1943 through war's end.
    Skins included are:

    56th Fighter Group (8th AF):

    61st FS
    62nd FS
    63rd FS

    and

    377th FS, 362nd FG (9th AF)

All markings are decals; this will allow super easy creation of other squadrons by simply creating a new SCode decal, although those with a purer historical heart will also have to run down the matching serial numbers for their decal creation. Decal randomization is set to TRUE.
Please note, Squadron or Group specific markings -ARE- painted on.
The mod has the correct nose arts, matched to plane-in-squadron letter and serial numbers for the 61st FS only. However, the serials for the 62nd & 63rd ARE matched to their plane-in-squadron letter. They have no nose arts. Any marked with a star (*) ARE correct for their squadron, but could not be 100% matched to a particular aircraft.

The 61st carries the mid-to-late 43 style of QIMs, and the other 2 (62 & 63) have the 1944 style used the 56th, including the squadron colored tails.
The 377th is in natural metal, and has full D-Day markings. Included is a post-September 44 skin, with D-Day stripes -only- on the bottom. Those serials should be considered "generic" in nature, but ARE for the correct model variant.

All the 1stGen Hangar and/or Loading screens were either rebuilt to SF2-spec, or created new for this package. They are in jpg format, and fit SF2 styling. Damage textures are also new, in DDS format.

As some unit markings are repeated, those with the mods I built for Wolf's Razorback, can choose to keep those, revamp them for use on THIS model, or remove them to storage. You'll most likely be doing this when the D 'Bubbletop' is released.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, as usual, give the "Notes" section a read, too.
