  1. SF2 DLC #28: F-104C (61) Starfighter Skins/Ini Pak, Part 1

    SF2 DLC #28: F-104C (61) Starfighter Skins/Ini Pak, Part 1 3/15/2014

    = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged, =WITH= DLC #28 (Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) =

*DLC #28 is REQUIRED for this mod!!*

The pack contains some remods of Daves skins/decals that were originally seen on Anjundair's F-104C. Now that we have a better model (DLC #28), it behooved me to update it.
Please note, this pack is set up for the F-104C_61 variant from the DLC pak (WITH refueling probe). However, with a simple rename of the skin maps, it can be used on the standard or garden Variety F-104C included in DLC 28. It is NOT for use on the F-104C_66. That will be covered in another mod pak See "Notes" for more information on skin renaming.

This pack contains skins/decals for the following units:

    479th TFW, George AFB:
    434th TFS
    435th TFS
    436th TFS
476th TFS (all in stateside full-color markings)
    and
476th TFS, as seen at Da Nang, RVN in 1964 (called 476_E, with tail TAC Badge)

All aircraft are in 'Natural Metal' finish
All markings are decals, and decal Randomization is TRUE.

    The inis included are:
Data.ini (operable canopy, Standard Keystroke, Shift/0)
    Loadout ini
    main ini
Hangar screen (an SF2 revamped version of the 1stGen's F-104G)
    Loadout image (bmp)
Avionics. ini (with non-historic audio-only RWR)
Cockpit.ini, (with working secondary ADI and oil quantity gauges, ala F-104G)
Please note, the cockpit itself is =NOT= included -- you'll have to find the F-104G's pit on your own.
When in game, just to be sure, you'll see "F-104C Starfighter (61) (3W)". This will differentiate it from the 1stGen mods (see below, as an added safety precaution)
When installing, just allow the overwrite of the inis. I've fiddled with the skin listing order, to make them more user friendly. Also included is my (patent pending) 'One Click Restore Main Ini' for when the game engine ™ rewirtes it.
Also, if you have ANY of the original Ajundair F-104Cs ported over to SF2, you are ADIVSED to rename ALL the folders (aircraft and decals), back them up or remove them from your mods folder BEFORE installing this package. There is a distinct possibility that this mod may merge with them, and really and truely foul things up!

*REMINDER!!! You =MUST= have DLC #28 to access the aircraft's LOD.*

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please -READ- them!!

    Happy Hunting!

on Anjundair's F-104A. Now that we have a better model (DLC #28), it behooved
me to update it. Included are USAF and Air National Guard skins.

    USAF:
    56th FIS (ADC)
83rd FIS (ADC) (1st unit to recieve them, Hamilton AFB)
    151st FIS (TN ANG)
    157th FIS (SC ANG)
    197th FIS (AZ ANG)
    319th FIS
    538th FIS

    RJAF:
    No 9 Squadron.
This skin replaces the stock 3W with 100% hisorical serials, but is still named
the same (from my 1stGen mod of Ajundairs)

All markings are decals, and decal Randomization is TRUE.

Cockpit.ini, (with working secondary ADI and oil pressure gauges, ala F-104G)
User list with corrected RJAF date.
Please note, the cockpit itself is =NOT= included -- you'll have to find the
F-104G's pit on your own. (these inis will replace those in the PAF F-104A skin pak. Allow the overwrite)

*REMINDER!!! You =MUST= have DLC #28 to access the aircraft's LOD.*

For those that have the recently uploaded PAF A-Zipper, just allow the
overwrite of the inis. I've fiddled with their order, to make them more user
friendly. Also included is my (patent pending) 'One Click Restore Main ini' for

that this mod may merge with them, and really and truely foul things up! The
same is equally valid for the upcoming mods for the DLC F-104Cs, that are now
    'in the hangar'.

  3. SF2 DLC #28: F-104A Starfighter, Pakistani Air Force

    SF2 DLC #28: F-104A Starfighter, Pakistani Air Force 3/10/2014

    = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged, =WITH= DLC #28 (Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) =

*DLC #28 is REQUIRED for this mod!!*

A remod skin/decal set for the DLC F-104A, recreates the Starfighter as used by the PAF.
The decals are re-used from my Indo-Pak Mod, that was based on Ajundair's old 1stGen A Zipper. Now, we're using the newest model (you all know how I hate to waste decals.... ).

Included are 98.6% historical serial numbers (albeit 2 are for 104Bs ...) as used by No. 9 Squadron, PAF. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. Also included are several inis with some additions and corrections.

    The inis are:
Data.ini (operable canopy, standard keystrokes, Shift/0)
    Loadout ini
    main ini
Hangar screen (an SF2 revamped version of the 1stGen's F-104G)

  4. SF2 WW2 DLC #28 S-99 (Bf-109G) Mod Pak

    SF2 WW2 DLC #28 S-99 (Bf-109G) Mod Pak 3/10/2014

    -- Something for the WW2 players --

    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*You =MUST= have DLC #28 to gain access to the stock 3W S-99 Lods*

Some modifications to the DLC Avia S-99, 'backdate' it to its WW2 beginnings.
The aircraft has had several modifications, not the least of which is the
    renaming to BF-109.

The skin is a 'base' light grey (RLM 81?). All new panel and rivet lines have
been drawn in. There is NO camoflague pattern, nor are the control surfaces
    fabric lines drawn in.

The templates I created ARE included, in the hopes someone can make use of them
and finish off the aircraft. Due to the resolution of the stock skins I used, I
was unable to see the control surface lines well enough, or to find a drawing
that matched well enough to try drawing them.
Several ini mods add a 'fake pilot' belly rack, so the drop tank or single bomb
will have something to attach too (as the Lod does NOT have this mesh). Some
modification to FM statements try to bring it closer to published data. It may
    need further tuning by experts.
Canopy opens with the Standard Animation Keystroke (Shift/0)

The skin included is a 'base' Luftwaffe (albeit, again with no camo). The
markings represent 11/JG 77 in late 1944. All markings are decals, and decal
    randomization is TRUE.

    When in-game, you'll see:

    Bf-109G10 (3W)

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are
included. So, please =READ= them BEFORE installing this mod!!!.
With any luck, one of our Expert skinners will grab this, and give us some
    nice Luftwaffe skins.

    Happy Hunting!

  5. SF2 WW2 MTO USAAF P-40F Pak (Raven)

    SF2 WW2 MTO USAAF P-40F Pak 2/24/2014

-- Something for the WW2 MTO players --

    = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Note: this pak MAY be usable in 1stGen SF/Wo* game installs. However, some features (decal randomization and FM adjustments and several other things) will =NOT= be functional. Use in 1stGens has not, and cannot be, tested by me.*

**Notex2: this mod is designed for use =ONLY= in a MTO-Centric mods folder**

At first, I was just going to do a simple skin/decals pack. But with all the "modifications" made to fit into SF2 chose to take the "lazy man's way out" and am just uploading the entire aircraft. So, if you already have Raven's P-40F in your MTO-centric mods folder, best to back it up someplace. You can, of course, re-add any other skins at your convience.

This is the full aircraft, with my 'tweeked' sf2-ish data ini. The skin included is for...

64th FS, 57 FG "Black Scorpions"

as seen from late 1942 in North Africa.
Skins remain in their bmp format.
New DDS damage textures (usable on all Raven's Warhawk/Kittyhawk in SF2 only) are included!
All markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. There are no nose arts. Also, via the use of my (patent pending) fake "SqTail" decal, the squadron name display is now active on the Loadout Screen.
No weapons are included, except an SF2 Version of the drop tank (for those that haven't converted it yet). New theatre-specific Hangar and Loading screens are included, too. Actually, you have 2 loadings screens to choose from.

When in-game, on the aircraft selection drop-down, you'll see

    P-40F-5 CU (Raven)

This will diferentiate this for any other Warhawks you may (or may not) have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!

  6. SF2 WW2 MTO Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VIF, v.9

    SF2 WW2 MTO Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VIF, v.9 by Cocas 2/10/2014

-- Something for the WW2 MTO players --

    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*This mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, at any patch level. It was built for SF2 ONLY!!.*
*Note x2: This mod represents VIFs as used in the MTO =ONLY=. This is the AI equipped NFs (Mk.VII), WITH dehidral (upwards pointing) tailplanes, but NO turret gun. I've allowed for other mission statement like 'Armed_Recon'. This aircraft carries NO bombs or rockets. You'll have to do with guns-only. Until the later model VI, X and TF.X arrive.*

This is a BRAND NEW aircraft, brought to you by Cocas Aircraft Factory & Co.
We are calling this "version 0.9", as there exists the possibility of more work being required. But, we wanted to get them out into the hands of our WW2 End Users ™ for their examination and so forth.
This pack contains the following aircraft & skin/decal sets:

    Beaufighter Mk.IVF
No. 600 "City of London" Squadron

As seen in late 1942/early 43 time frames. The aircraft is finished in standard overall MSG with disruptive Dark Green.
The Squadron Crest for each is used as the paint chip seen on the Loadout Screen.
Skins are in jpg format, as are the bump maps. Damage textures are in DDS. Everything is included, excepting the guns (you should have all these already). No bombs or rockets; these are Mk.VIF NFs, not equipped for them. All markings are decals, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.
Other squadrons can easily be reproduced by creating new squadron code letters. As is my habit, sample bmps are left in the various Decals folders so you can match the font and size.
All serials, while correct for the variant depicted, should be considered 'generic' in nature, as they represent no specific aircraft with the unit(s) depicted.

    When in-game, you'll see:

    Beaufighter Mk VIF (Early) (CAF)

for this aircraft. The "CAF" (for Cocas Aircraft Factory) will diferentiate these Beaus from any others you may or may not have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please =READ= them BEFORE installing this mod!!!. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.

  7. SF2 WW2 RAF Douglas Dakota Skin Pak

SF2 WW2 RAF Douglas Dakota Skin Pak 3/1/2014

    -- Something for the WW2 ETO/MTO players --

    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged, + Expansion Pak 1 (REQUIRED!) =

*You must have SF2:I Exp Pak 1, as this mod REQUIRES the stock 3W C-47*

This pak contains Skin/Decal mods for the Stock 3rd Wire C-47A, representing
RAF Dakota's in WW2. This pak contains 2 skins:

    RAF (Euro) -standard OD/Grey
RAF_D (Desert) - standard Day Desert

Supplied are 26 plane-in group letters and RAF serial number decals. The
serials, while correct for the Dakota, represent no particular unit and should
be considered 'generic' in nature. Both skins use a 'pool' of the letters and
serials. There are NO squadron codes.
    Decal randomization is TRUE
Also supplied is an updated/edited/adjusted C-47A User list, with many
    corrected dates.

End users ™ are advised to choose which skin for what WW2 mods folder
they'll be using (Euro for the ETO, and Desert for the MTO, obviously!). Simply
rename the textureset ini for the skins NOT being used, and the Game Engine
    will ignore it.

This little mod comes about as I'm sick and tired of seeing Dakota's parked on
my terrains, with incorrect WW2 markings (while not perfect even WITH this,
    they're a LOT closer!)

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are
included. So, please =READ= them BEFORE installing this mod!!!

  8. SF2 WW2 Fieseler Fi 156 'Storch' (MTO/ETO) Pak

    SF2 WW2 Fieseler Fi 156 'Storch' (MTO/ETO) Pak, 3/1/2014

    -- Something for the WW2 ETO/MTO players --

    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a distinct possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs below the 08 pach level. Due to some of the modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment (specific statements for decals and the 'open cockpit") all the features will =NOT= be working as designed in anything earlier. No support is/will be available for 1stGen users to do so.*

Some modification, tweeks, reskin and so forth for Raven's cool little Storch, adds another skin (MTO Desert) and new decals (radio call letters) for both. Also, a exceedingly modified cockpit from my L-19 mod, making if nicely Player Flyable. (as seen in the SF2 Storch Tweeks Pak from a few years back. Ths mod includes that, plus more!)
So, you have to 2 skins:

Euro Green (the original) (represeing ????)
MTO desert mottle camo (representing 2(H)/14 in North Africa)

Originally, I was just going to do an 'update pak', but it was just as easy to assemble a Full Aircaft Update Package. This was done simply for 'ease of use' (read: laziness!!! :) ).
All skins is still in bmp format. Decal randomization is TRUE. All the markings are decals. Each skin has 12 radio letter decals. There is NO hangar screen.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please =READ= them.
This pak includes a number of changes for SF2, so if you have the Storch already, you might REALLY want to back up your original, as THIS is designed to replace it.
Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.
With Thanks To Raven for the bird!

*Note x2: This mod represents the early production Beau Mk.VIs for ETO and MTO
usage ONLY! Seperate versions for other theatres, and later marks, will be
released when and as they are finished. (although, with a differently painted
skin, it could be used for CBI/PTO...)
We are calling this "version 0.9", as there exists the possibility of more work

Users ™ for their examination and so forth.*

This is a BRAND NEW aircraft, brought to you by Cocas Aircraft Factory & Co.
This package contains 1 aircraft, representing a mix-mash of 3 different
(early) Mk.VI variants, so I'm calling this the "Beaufighter 6 Mix":

    VIF
    VIC
    ITF

These marks =HAVE= the dihedral horizontial stabs (they point up). There is no
MG turret, and no AI or ASV radar. The aircraft IS equipped to carry rockets
and a torpedo, as well as 2 bombs on the wing stations - but, obviously! not
all at the same time!! (see notes for more information).

This pack contains the following aircraft & skin/decal sets:

Beaufighter Mk.VIF Standard CC Scheme (Overall MSG/Dark Green disruptive)
    No. 236 Squadron, Coastal Command

The Squadron Crest for each is used as the paint chip seen on the Loadout
    Screen.
Skins are in jpg format, as are the bump maps. Damage textures are in DDS.
Everything is included (rockets, bombs, chickens, beer), excepting the guns (you
    should have all these already).
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is set to TRUE. Other
squadrons can easily be reproduced by creating new squadron code letters (either
for ETO or MTO usage). As is my habit, a sample bmp are left in the Decals
folder so you can match the font and size.
All serials, while correct for the variant depicted, should be considered
'generic' in nature, as they represent no specific aircraft with the units
    represented.

    When in-game, you'll see:

    Beaufighter Mk VIF (Early) (CAF)

for this aircraft. The "CAF" (for Cocas Aircraft Factory) will diferentiate
these Beaus from any others you may or may not have. I've left it as "VIF", as
I really don't know what else to call it!! :)

  10. SF2 WW2 French Navy Aircraft and Ships Pak

SF2 WW2 French Navy Aircraft and Ships Pak 2/16/2014

    = For SF2 (Full 5 Merged REQIRED!)

**This mod -WILL NOT- work in 1stGen game installs. It's designed for the the SF2NA environment**
This is a VERY odd package, probably one of the oddest I've ever done! It contains both historical and "What If..." items.
I really don't know if this belongs in the "What If" Hangar, or the Regular WW2 Downloads Section. But it may increase the "fun factor" of having something different. I'd started this mod in July, 2013, and just never got around to finishing it.

This package contains aircraft and ships of the French Navy for WW2.

    Aircraft (Real):
Grumman G-36A (Martlet I/F4F-3), Flottile 13 (somewhat real, somewhat What If)
    V-156F (Vought SB2U) E/AB-1 (real *model is a stand-in*)
    SBD-3 Dauntless Flotille 3 (real, circa 1943/44)

    Aircraft (What If...):
    Sea Hurrican Ib, Flotille 12
    Martlet IVF (F4F-4) Flotille 13

    Ships:
    PA Bearn Class CV*
    PA Joffre Class CV*
    Suffren Class CA
    Malin Class DD*

Ships marked with the star (*), while having historical names and numbers, are complete and utter "stand-ins". However, everything DOES work (more or less). The Suffren class CAs are, of course, Foch, and are correctly shaped.

For those aircraft with working canopies (G-36A, Hurricane) and folding wing (just the Martlet IV), the Standard Animation Keystrokes are used; shift/0 for the canopy and shift/9 for the wings.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, you might want to give the (rather extensive) "Notes" section a read for historcal and non-historical backgrounds. The "credits" section breaks down "who has what and where did it come from".
Also, please remember, some of these models are very old, and may have some "issues" in SF2.

This pack contains the following aircraft & skin/decal sets:

Beaufighter Mk.1F Early (Day Fighter) Standard Desert Day Scheme

Beaufighter Mk.1F Late (Day Fighter) Standard Desert Day

    No. 252 Squadron
    No. 272 Squadron

(Both aircraft have both squadrons. Early and Late divides the straight tail from the "bent" tail marks.)

Beaufighter NF Mk.1 Early (Night Fighter) Desert Day uppers, Special Night Unders

    No. 89 Squadron

The Squadron Crest for each is used as the paint chip seen on the Loadout Screen.
Skins are in jpg format, as are the bump maps. Damage textures are in DDS. Everything is included, excepting the guns (you should have all these already). No bombs or rockets; these are Mk.1s, not equipped for them. All markings are decals, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.
Other squadrons can easily be reproduced by creating new squadron code letters. As is my habit, sample bmps are left in the various Decals folders so you can match the font and size.
All serials, while correct for the variant depicted, should be considered 'generic' in nature, as they represent no specific aircraft with the units represented.
New Hangar and Loading screens for each are included.

    When in-game, you'll see:

    Beaufighter Mk. IF (Early) (CAF)

    Beaufighter Mk IF (Late) (CAF)

    Beaufighter NF Mk.I (Late) (CAF)

for these aircraft. The "CAF" (for Cocas Aircraft Factory) will differentiate these Beaus from any others you may (or may not) have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please =READ= them BEFORE installing this mod!!!. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.

    = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =
    -For WW2 PTO Usage ONLY!-

*Note: This mod updates the original pak from June, 2013. It is desinged to
REPLACE, it total, that pak. After unzipping, you MAY dorp it over your existing
one, or delete the older RAAF Pak (BETTER!!), and just use this. If you don't have the
    original, then no worries!! :)
*Note2: it's RECCOMENDED you have whichever SF2 Expansion pak that gave us the
Spit 9s. This mod references that destroyed model for it's own use*

This is a reskin/redecalling of the TMF Mk.VIII Spit for use by the Royal
Australian Air Force in the South West Pacific area (Oz, PNG, Indonesia, Timor,
etc region). NOT for use in the CBI theatre!!!
Note: this is a Nationalized verion for Australia =ONLY=!!

    Skin/Decals set included are for:

No. 452 Squadron as delivered in 1943
No. 79 Squadron (late 44/45, all white tail; Moritai?) NEW!!

The aircraft is finished in standard RAF Day Scheme (Green/Grey/Lt Grey unders)
All skins are in jpg format, Decal Randomization is TRUE.
    All markings are decals (excepting National Markings, that are painted on);
making it supremely easy to recreate other squadron users.
For 79 Squadron only, Serial numbers marked with a star (*) for either skin
represent actual aircraft, 100% matched to their plane-in-group-numbers. Those
withOUT, while having served with the respective squadrons, could not be match
to specific aircraft. For 452 Squadron, ALL are 100% historically correct.
All weapons (drop tanks), sounds, pilot figure(s) (including the 'fake pilot')
are included. Guns/bombs are NOT included; you should have them already.
New Hangar and Loading screens are included. The appropriate Squadron Crest is
used for the paint chip on both skins.

The Canopy opens with the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0
    Damage textures are DDS;

    When 'in game', you'll see

    Spitfire Mk.VIII (TMF) RAAF

in the aircraft selection drop-down window. This will diferentiate it from any
other Mk.VIIIs, and their users, you may (or may not) have .

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are
included. So, please -READ- them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too for

**Notex2: These aircraft should =ONLY= be used in a seperate CBI-centric mods folder to prevent them from showing up where, historically, they shouldn't. The Aircraft/GroundObject sets for CBI are substantially different from the Central or SouthWest Pacific areas.**

This pack contains modifications/reskin/redecaling/etc of Wolf257's P-47D aircraft (both Razorback & BubbleTop), and create a nation-specific version for use in the China-Burma-India Theatre (SEAC) by the RAF. This is the complete aircraft, with everything needed. This pak contains a skins for:

    Thunderbolt I:

    No. 261 Squadron, RAF

    Thunderbolt II:

No. 5 Squadron (after converting from Mohawks)
No. 60 Squadron (after converting from Hurricanes, after converting from Blenheims)

261 and 5 Squadrons are finished in standard SEAC camo (Temprate Day); 60 squadron is finished in Natural Metal, as they didn't start Thunderbolt operations until May, 1945. That particular skin does NOT use the SF2 "start date" switch, as many of the squadrons continued in camo until VE-Day. You can select it from the drop-down in the usual manner.
All markings are decals, making it very easy for skinners to create other squadrons by simply making a new squadron code letter. Decal randomization is set to TRUE.
The Squadron Crest is used for the paint chip on all 3 skins.

A new (semi)compliant SF2 FM was assembled (as used on my other P-47 Mods). As has become expected, the FM is NOT perfect, and needs further fine-tuning by Experts.

New "box art" style hangar & loading screens (when art was locatable), New DDS damage textures. The skins are in jpg format, As is usual, all lighting is 100% historically correct.
Serial numbers are also historicaly correct for these Jugs, but should be considered "generic" in nature, as they represent no particular aircraft with the unit(s) depicted, But are correct for the model variants.

    When in-game, you'll see:

    Thunderbolt Mk.I (W)

    Thunderbolt Mk.II (W)

on the aircraft selection drop down menu. The "W" is for "Wolf". This will diferentiate them from any other Jugs (RAF, USAAF or otherwise) you may or may not have.

    No. 5 Squadron, RAF

As seen in the Assam & Imphal Valleys, and Eastern Bengal in late 1941 thru
1942 (end of service approx 1944). It is finished in standard Temperate Day
    Scheme, with full color markings.

A new (semi) compliant SF2 FM was cobbled together. As has become expected, the
FM is NOT perfect, and needs further fine-tuning by Experts.
New "box art" style hangar screen, New DDS damage textures, New (AvHistory)
Engine sound, and a new 20# RAF bomb. The skin remains in BMP format, and decal
randomization is set to TRUE. As is usual, all lighting is 100% historically
    correct.
Serial numbers are also historicaly correct for th Mohawk II/III/IV, but should
be considered "generic" in nature, as they represent no particular aircraft
    with the unit depicted.
All markings are decals, making it easier for other skinners to replicate the
other Mohawk units in the CBI.

    When in-game, you'll see

    Mohawk IV (W)

on the aircraft selection drop down menu. The "W" is for "Wolf". This is done
as a 'just in case' Raven is working on a newer version (which I believe to be

*Note: this pak MAY be usable in 1stGen SF/Wo* game installs. However, some
features (decal randomization and others) will =NOT= be functional. Use in
1stGens has not, and cannot be, tested by me.*

**Note x2: this mod is designed for use =ONLY= in a WW2 CBI-Centric mods
folder. Some Theatre specific changes have been effected, and should =ONLY= be
    used in the CBI!!!**

This is =NOT= the full aircraft; you'll be adding all this stuff to the
original (ok, Ver.4). It's available at the following URL:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/13254-hurricane-mkiic/

Some mods, tweeks, and 2 new skin/decal sets for Raven's Hurricane IIC Trop, as
seen in India and Burma during WW2.
    Included are 2 skins for:

    No. 135 Squadron, RAF
No. 2 Squadron "Winged Arrows", Royal Indian Air Force (RIAF)

The squadron patch will be seen as the paint chip for each skin on the Loadout
    screen.
Neither unit carried Squadron codes, and both make use of a pool of plane-in-
group letters and serial numbers. The serials should be considered 'generic' in
nature, as they represent no particular aircraft with these units, but ARE
    correct for the variant depicted.
Skins remain in their bmp format, and as both units were painted alike, resides
in the MAIN aircraft folder. This will NOT interfere with other skins you may
have, residing in their individual folders
    Several new inis are included;

    Main
    Data (with some small tweeks)
    Loadout (again, with small tweeks)

A new-ish, SF2 version of the original uploads 44 gal drop tank (with pylon),
creates a new, seperate version of this weapon. It will NOT conflict with any
others, and is designed for use on THIS aircraft. No other weapons or guns are
indluded; you should have them already.
The AvHistory Merlin engine sound is included, as is a new SF2 style hangar
    screen.
Canopy Opens/Closes via the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0.
All markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE.

The skins have been run through the template (thank you Raven for that!), and
have had a layer of dirt and 'clouds' added for weathering.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are
    included. PLEASE read them!!

  20. SF2 WW2 Northern Europe/North Sea Terrain (v2)

WW2 Northern Europe Terrain for SF2

    - For SF2, Any & All (*Full-4/5 Merged Reccomended*)

This is an all NEW map, covering the Northern UK (Scotland, Orkneys, Shetlands), southern Norway, Denmark, parts of Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands, and LARGE parts of the North Sea.

This map makes use of =BOTH= the LimitedNations and AllowedMission statements. There are =NO= CAS or other Ground Attack mission tasking, other than Armed Recon and Anti-Shipping. Strike, of course, for the bombers, remains (exceedingly!) valid. Armed Recon mission are constrained to within approximately 100km of the coastlines (more or less) for BOTH sides, due to the long over-water distances involved in some parts of the map.

Like the last 2 ETO terrain remods, there is an extensive road network on both sided of the channel (lesser in Norway, of course, due to the tiling constraints and fjords!). As this map was (relatively) designed for anti-shipping strikes, you'll find plenty of them to keep you busy. Plus all the other allowed missions, for both sides.

*Geophysical Disclaimer: some rivers and other water features may not follow their Real Life ™ courses, or be placed in their Real Life ™ locations, or exist at all. Several cities and other physical features (mountains, vallies, coastlines, forests, roads, etc) may also fall into this classification; Some populated places may exist only as a "named place" on the map (even some fairly large, and strategicly important ones). This was done for operational reasons. Many airfields/airports, some of historical significance, may also be non existant or not placed in the Real World ™ locations due to tiling constraints. Bridges may also not be in their Real World ™ locations, or run in their historical directions.*

When in-game, you'll see "Northern Europe, WW2" on the terrain selection dropdown window.

The bare minimum of Ground Objects are supplied; you'd be well adivsed to have the EAWEuro WW2 and Battle of Britain Rebuilds, with their included objects in you ETO mods folder. Other objects are also needed, listed in the "Other Stuff Needed" Section below.

As always, unzip this to a temp folder or your desktop, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions. It's reccomended you read the document through after unzipping, but -BEFORE- installing. As always, the Notes and Other Nonesense section may make for entertaining reading, as it explains a few "oddities" you WILL experience!

Please also read and -OBEY- the New Standard Usage Discalimer ™, as it's been changed slightly to reflect a change in my policy. It's listed at the bottom, in the Legal Statement Section, with the URL back to the CA post.

  21. SF2 WW2 Northen Europe/North Sea Fix-It Pak

    SF2 WW2 Northen Europe/North Sea Fix-It Pak 1/22/2014

= For Use on the Recently Released WW2 Northern Europe/North Sea Terrain =

This fix-it pak contains a modified Norway.ini (main ini) and Norway_Movements.ini.

The main ini has the correction to reset the terrain size to the actual size of the terrain, now allowing the in-game planning map to show things where they truely are.
The Movements ini has a repositioned 'front line', that now also sits where it's supposed to!

The terrain is available at the following URL:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/14545-sf2-ww2-northern-europenorth-sea-terrain/

This is to be applied on those already downladed. A 'new' version of the terrain will be uploaded with these changes/repairs already added.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!!

    Happy Landings!

  22. SF2 WW2 FAA Seafire Mk.IIb Pak by Cocas Aircraft Factory & Co

SF2 WW2 FAA Seafire Mk.IIb Pak by Cocas Aircraft Factory & Co (ver 0.9)
    1/10/2014

-- Something for the WW2 Players For Various Theatres --

    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Note: having whichever expansion pak gave us the Spit Mk. IX is required, as
this mod references the stock 3W destroyed Spitfire*

This is tagged as Ver 0.9, as some minor fixes may be required. We wanted to
get it out into the hands of End Users ™, both for your flying pleasure, and
    further examinations.

The package contains the Seafire Mk.IIb as issued to Fleet Air Arm squadrons in
1942. Essentially (in Real Life), an extenisvely modified Mk.V, with new naval
hardware, most importantly the A-frame arrestor hook. This version does NOT
have folding wings. The data ini contains the SF2:NA required statements for
carrier parking; unfortunately, the RN Fleet carriers we have use a smaller
wingspan statement. Aside from that, it is fully carrier capable, in the NA
environment; and was tested in such.

Skin(s) included with the package are:

    Royal Navy:

No. 885 NAS, HMS FORMIDABLE (circa 2/42 in the Atlantic; aka "Home Fleet")
No. 807 NAS, HMS BATTLER (circa 1942, MTO, a CVE)
No. 834 NAS, HMS BATTLER (BEIF, circa 1944, yes the same CVE)

(In essence, a slight mish-mash of theatres! It is suggested that End Users
™ select the skin wanted/needed for a specific theatre, and delete the rest,
editing them out of the aircraft's main ini (ie: SeafireIIB_CAF.ini)

This pack makes use of the Brain32 trick of having the skin maps in the MAIN
aircraft folder, NOT in the individual squadron folders. As all FAA Seafires (for the most part)
were painted the same camo, this reduces the size of the package (slightly). Only the
markings (squadron codes, national insignia) change.
However..both 807 and 834 (folder called 'BEIF") have seperate 1 maps, as their
    prop spinners are different colors.

All marking are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. Other squadrons can
easily be done by creating new squadron code letters.
See "Notes" for more infomation on the individual markings.
An SF2 version of my "box art" style hangar screens is included. It's more a 'generic' Seafire screen, as
it depicts both I, IIb and IIIC models.
All aircraft use a "pool" of serial numbers. The serial numbers, while
'generic' in nature (representing no particular aircraft), ARE correct for the
variant depicted. The other markings are specific to each ship.

The canopy operates via the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0. Guns
are also grouped, MGs in Group 1, the cannon in Group 2.

    When in game, you'll see:

    Seafire Mk.IIb (CAF)

on the aircraft selection dropdown menu. This will diferentiate =THIS= Seafire
from any others you may (or may not) have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are
    included. So, please read them.

  23. SF2 WW2 Spitfire Mk.V Trop (RAAF, SoWesPac) Pak by Cocas Aircraft Factory

SF2 WW2 Spitfire Mk.V Trop (RAAF, SoWesPac) Pak by Cocas Aircraft Factory & Co (ver 0.9) 1/09/2014

-- Something for the PTO players --

    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Note: having whichever expansion pak gave us the Spit Mk. IX is required, as this mod references the stock 3W
    destroyed Spitfire*

This is tagged as Ver 0.9, as we're sure some minor fixes may be required. We wanted to get it out into the hands of End Users ™, both for your flying pleasure, and further examinations.

This package is for PTO (in particular, the Darwin and New Guinea regions of the South West Pacfic) Spitfire V Trops -ONLY!!!-. NOT to be used elsewhere! This is a Theatre Specific aircraft package! The data ini uses the correct dates for Mk V arrivals in Australia.
= REMINDER: this is a Nationalized, Theatre-specific aircraft mod!!! =

The Skin(s) included with the package are:

No. 54 Squadron (RAF -tagged as RAAF for gaming purposes) (DL)
    No. 79 Squadron, RAAF (UP)
    No. 452 Squadron, RAAF (QY)

as based in and round Darwin, NT, Australia, and that general region. For all intents an purposes, this constitutes No. 1 Fighter Wing.

On the Loadout Screen, the plane-in-group letters that have a star (*) next to them have been 100% positively matched to their historically correct serial numbers. Those without a star, while having served within the Squadrons represented, could NOT be matched to any specific aircraft. This is true for all 3 Squadrons represented in this package.

The Squadron Crests are used as the paint chip, as seen on the Loadout screen.
This pack makes use of the Brain32 trick of having the skin maps in the MAIN aircraft folder, NOT in the individual squadron folders. As almost all SWP (Oz, PNG) based Spitfires were painted the same camo, this reduces the size of the package. Only the squadron codes would need changing.
Like the other CAF Spitfires, the skin is in jpg format. All markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE.

The canopy operates via the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0. Guns are also grouped, MGs in Group 1, the cannon in Group 2. Guns, weapons, etc are NOT included, but the AvHistory Merlin engine sound is. You should have all the rest.

    When in game, you'll see:

    Spitfire Mk.Vb Trop RAAF (CAF)

on the aircraft selection dropdown menu. This will diferentiate THIS Spitfire from any other MK Vs you may (or may not) have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them.
